Hey there,
On the CQI ones, does the blade drop open or closed when depressing the comp lock?
Thanks!

Re: Discontinued List 2021 Speculation Thread
Doubt the Techno 2 gets axed.
Would love for it and the Chef to get the same wonderful steel insert and action as the swayback, though.
Though one thing about the Techno 2 that the Techno 1 doesn’t have it a visible detent hole. Bugged me so much I unloaded my 2.

Re: Blade HQ copper rex45 pm2
I was just told by a collector club member that these scales were made by flytanium. Can anyone confirm? I very highly doubt that Spyderco would put Chinese garbage on a knife coming out of the Golden facility. As opposed to the Sharpmaker, the Byrd line, and cheaper Spyderco-branded knives that co...

Re: Caribbean at last
Has a CQI version been announced? These are out of stock everywhere, and between the weak detent, perhaps a different pivot, and reports of blades hitting lanyard tubes it would seem a good candidate.

Re: REX45 Lil' Native Alert Thread
If attention to detail and aesthetics (blade centering) and tactile feel (smooth lock) are inconsequential to you, then maybe you should stick to gas station knives. I worry about the small stuff, of course. In every aspect of my life. I’ll enjoy the 3 knives that I paid for, and will enjoy knowing...

Re: REX45 Lil' Native Alert Thread
I don't think they hate the player as much as the game haha Nice! People get so salty about the fact that sprint runs are limited, and that the value of the knives goes up on the secondary market. Supply and demand drives pricing everywhere. I am glad to buy something that goes up in value once bou...

Not at the moment, no. I already promised to give someone here the scales off of one of them.BornIn1500 wrote: ↑Sat May 30, 2020 9:58 pmMolle Ninja wrote: ↑Sat May 30, 2020 7:59 pmThe reAson I buy several is to get one without lock stick and with a centered blade. Sometimes quantity is needed.
So you're already planning on returning or flipping 2 of them?

Re: REX45 Lil' Native Alert Thread
The reAson I buy several is to get one without lock stick and with a centered blade. Sometimes quantity is needed. I never realized that a centered blade made a knife cut so much better. We can't have any lock stick, it's so important to the intended purpose of a cutting tool. You're probably a fli...

Re: REX45 Lil' Native Alert Thread
They don’t work at all. I’ve been buying Sprints for years and NEVER bought one through a vendor’s email or text. All illusory. Still waiting for vendors to send me that notice despite them selling the knives. The reAson I buy several is to get one without lock stick and with a centered blade. Somet...
