I can explain.

I was the high bidder. I asked the seller to cancel my bid for personal reasons. Being the nice guy that he was, he granted my request. At the time the high bid was $126.01.

Nothing shady going on at all.

Kopa question

So I joined the collector's club recently, but held off on the Kopa, mainly due to lack of information. How often do Kopas come out? And what is an average price for each one from your collector dealer? I really like some of the inlays, they look very classy, and appear to be the perfect dress carry...

His is missing the checkered handguards, so I'm guessing its a PPK knock-off, possibly an Eastern European copy.

What kind of handgun is that? Looks like something "east earopean" to me, but I may be wrong of course.. 32ACP or 38ACP?

I'd guess a Walther .380 PPK, too old to be PPKS. It's hard for me to tell from the side shown.

Haha. I just set up Jess as my Collector dealer today. Good to put a face with a name, although I never thought I would see him in this thread.

Questions about the manufacture of....

...... Spydercos. Without revealing any trade secrets, if you will, I pose a couple questions. 1.) How do those little holes get there? Is it before or after the heat treat process? Are they punched out or drilled? Does the technique used vary based on blade steel? 2.) How are our knives sharpened? ...

I've not ever owned a knife other than spyderco, so I can't speak about other brands.

Thanks guys for all of the great answers. I tried the search function, but must not have worded my search correctly as the first 3 pages of responses I went through didn't answer these questions.

I will indeed contact Ruth as you suggested. I am already hopelessly addicted to the :spyder:

Collector's Club Questions.

I've read the collectors club is limited to 200 individuals. Are all of those 200 slots filled? I've also read that if you want to be in the collector club you must commit to purchasing every new model that is released. Is the price you pay MSRP or discounted? Are you automatically billed for the mo...

Worker C01 price?

Well I recently began collecting Spydercos. I got my first one two weeks ago and I'm already up to 3, including the new CF Caly 3 ZDP. I've been reading all I can, and surfing the web looking at all the other models both current and discontinued out there. The one I keep going back to that holds my ...

I'm torn.. I was thinking with going with the number 1, much like the winning strategy on the Price Is Right. Has Spyderco ever made any blades from ceramic?
