Well, there's always the fun/fiddle factor. I have to admit that's why I own a fair number of autos while living in a state that they're illegal to carry but not to own. :)

I won’t discount other answers, but fun/fiddle factor has always been a driving factor for me. The more gadgety, the better!

Earlier today I noticed I could preorder a Strecth 2 in V-Toku2/SUS310 for almost the same price as the VG10 version. Is one a clear winner over the other? Or, is the ZDP189 version better than both for $40 more? Please help keep me from looking back on this purchase with regret next year. Thanks!

An updated Kiwi with rounded scales, like the ones I’ve seen modded here, or similar other slender “gentleman” knives with fancy scales.
