Where are you seeing $91 Para 3 LW's in S30V? I wasn't aware of any Para 3 LW besides the BD1N that's been released so far.

I don't know what these comments are about "fit and finish" on the Tenacious. All the copies I have seen have been absolutely fine. The only shortcoming I can see with the knife is the steel, but it ain't bad -- and especially for the price. I've got no problems with the liner lock either....

I still name the Tenacious. Hard to beat what you get there for $50. It is hard to put numbers on how much a better steel or lock type is worth. I would probably nominate the stock S30V PM2 as my next choice though for around $125. The up and coming LW models start to change the landscape in the ban...

I thought about this more, and I think the thing to push for is the Native Chief as a forum knife.

I am dragging my feet towards getting a Chief and having it as a forum knife would certainly push me over the edge.

S110V is kind of a poor man's Maxamet. I don't think that's fair to s110v.
