I think the real issue here is that you are suffering from Repetitive Stress Injury caused by repetition of using your thumb to close your knife 600+ times a day. Another knife with a different method of closing will help but you'll be doing that 600+ times a day X's 5 days a week (3000+ reps) also....

I suppose new members who introduce themselves belong in "off topic" technically. IMO it detracts from the friendliness of this fine forum. Sometimes it's wiser to cut some slack.

Alot of good info and great people on this forum. I've learned more about knives in the last couple months than I ever knew.

Another vote for the Gale Bradley. To me it almost feels like an assisted opener.
