I use a small round file. It takes me less than a minute on both sides. I do this because I have a habit of opening and closing over and over when I'm bored. Then I'll get another Spydie and start flicking that.

I will also take the round file to the sharp edges of the FRN were the blade drops.

Well mine arrived today. !st Shamon and I'm impressed.

I did notice the Handles were dry ad a little slippery so I rubbed some mineral oil on it, let it sit, then wiped it down with a rag,
Now the color is more rich and the handles grippier.

I don't usually get wood handles but I likey.

I was on the fence on this one.
I was gonna wait till the 24th to make up my mind. KC surprised me this afternoon... by calling me.
I told them to send it. Maybe the wood will grow on me. :D

I did not get it. I did everything under 15 seconds.

Soap on a rope keeps you from bending down.
You can use it to smack one upside their head too.
If that fails you can retrieve yo shiv as a backup. :D

I have a few tan micarta knives. I put a thin coat of mineral oil on them. It darkens them and the color stays consistent.

I showed my wife how to use the lawn mower years ago. She cuts the grass all the time now.

Did the 2nd wave ship out from Spyderco yet?
