You must have known I was thinking about you the other day.
I got a pda and went back over old files and found some of your work to use as a wall screen shot.
Wanted to use the one with two images of you, but the wife might wonder......

Brands or Blades

I have to say that the only manufacturer I really like in general is Spyderco. I do appreciate a few makers with most of thier product line. One would be John Greco, currently I own 9 or 10 of his knives plus he is a great guy. I also like a local Georgia maker Warren Glover, who goes by Bubba Knive...

Had to bring this thread up again for an update. Tuesday I met with the person who will be my new boss, he wannts me to start on the first. They are kind of getting rid of someone who has become very unreliable. This morning I was awakened by a call at 10:am, from my new boss, he was checking to see...

let's keep it easy

Personally, I would go for a list of say five current or recently discontinued models. All they would need to do is change the handle color, if G-10 or the like. Then get it egraved and most of us would probably buy it. This would cut down on decisions, costs, tooling changes and headaches in gener...

Byrd knife on The Unit ?

Last night I was watching the unit and one of the characters was using what looked like a black Byrd knife.

I was not really sure because it only showed the blade.
Did anyone else see it?

One door closes and another opens

The 30th of August I lost my job, when they eliminated my small department. We were caught off guard by it, but we got one months severance plus sales commisions owed. I really was not overly concerned, but did not know what I wanted to do next. Most of my life I have had jobs that kept me on my fee...

Yojimbo rocks

I think the Yojimbo is great, it fits the hand so well. The only problem I have is it looks like a self defense blade  . Ooops, I forgot that is what the title was. For SD it is great, but to be able to use a knife in a workplace, I carry one that you can call an all around tool. Now out o...

some things do make sense

I was reading old threads (I should be looking for a job, but...) and had to comment on the Nascar issue and how boring it is. First of all I give alot of credit to someone who can sit in an extremely hot and tight area and drive within inches of other cars for as long as they do. Look at how many a...
