Re: UKPK Salt availability ?
Since it's called UK PK and it was - at least declarative - designed for the UK market out of courtesy I would expect the first batch to be sent into UK and then into the rest of Europe, where there are restrictions everywhere. Instead it went in stock in US... Where you can carry locking blades, a...

Re: Poll: Would You Buy a K390 Military, Featuring Green Canvas Micarta and a Titanium Reeve Integral Lock?
What is it about frame lock vs liner lock that makes people feel so strongly of one over the other? It is the same **** thing, just liner locks tend to be a little thinner. I just never cared for liner locks as a design. I tolerate frame locks, because I like the heft of titanium and there are a fe...

I am one of the weirdos, I guess.
I would buy a frame lock Millie in a heart beat.
Yet, if it were a liner lock, I wouldn't even consider it.

Definitely! Although, I would prefer that it retained the original blade shape.

Re: Customer Care redundant nowadays?
I know, I sound like an old fogey. But, just give them an old fashioned phone call. As for the Jester issue, you'll likely need to take that up with KnifeJoker. Same thing, phone calls are usually better. I have always had great help from Spyderco, over the phone. Charlynn is wonderful to deal with....

Re: So what's the top contender for all around "super steel" these days?
Out of all the steels I've used, LC200N shines as the best for an all around beater knife. Ultra corrosion resistant, super tough, takes an edge easily and holds that edge for a good amount of time. My Caribbean has seen the depths of ****, many times. Whatever I throw at it, it just shrugs it off a...

Doing some work on one of the cars today, decided to get out the LT3. That knife is as underappreciated as the service manual it sits on.

Re: Yellow G10?
I have gotten to where that yellow on the Seki FRN has grown on me. Now, I always like Case and Buck yellow handled knives. I really like GEC yellow knives. So, it got me to thinking, how would a yellow G10 (or micarta) UKPK Salt or Dragonfly Salt (or other knives) be? I, for one, would love to see...

Re: Appreciation for Spyderco family and request for a little bit of self reflection
I will admit, the incessant request threads do get a bit tiresome.
But, atleast it's not as bad as all the complaints about not getting the knife they wanted.

Anything the forum would be interested in? A DLT Exclusive ... a Purple FRN Delica with black CruWear blade? Seems easily do-able but maybe CruWear is slow with the covid supply chain??? Maybe add a few drops of black to the purple to make it a bit darker than the standard production purple? or may...

That's exactly like my mobile view.

I'm sure I'll get used to it, I just don't like change. Haha

I couldn't choose just one... https://i.ibb.co/gTdBVTC/20210809-122556.jpg On a side note. I dropped by my dad's a few days ago, while he was putting in his new sink and I saw an old friend. For someone who "didn't need a knife", that Baby Horn sure does look like it has seen some action. ...
