What’s the texture of the carbon fiber? Is it smooth or slightly grippy? Hard to tell from some of the picks.

I predict the FRN police will be in there.
I wishful think that we see either the FRN Caly 3.5 or even a new variant of the regular Caly 3.5
Also a k390 sprint of semi models would be fantastic!

Don’t get me wrong I love hap40, would just like more variety. K390 would be awesome!

If this is constructed like the g10/pakkawood versions then I would be in for this. I do however wish it was in a different steel, considering that there have already been 3 or 4 hap40 variations. Do agree that it would look great with a dlc blade.

I have to agree with Evil D on the Sliverax. Wonderful knife and really hope that we can see some sprint or productions variations in the future. I’d like to add another vote to PLEASE keep the wire clip on an FRN version. Also I think the texturing used on the ukpk fits the Caly model better than the bi-directional used on the seki models. Either way, can’t wait to have some more Caly 3.5 options. Thank you Sal!!

Was not my intention to whine. I know I could make more efforts at securing the knife. Was just looking to share some of the anticipation that we all seem to have when we are excited about a new offering.

Maybe everyone who’s order has shipped from KC should post just to rub it in.

But seriously happy for everyone who got theirs and can’t wait to eventually try this one out.

How many other people are waiting to see if their knifecenter pre order gets filled? I know the general advice has been to buy elsewhere when they drop and then either cancel with KC or keep it as a just in case. I went this route with the Vtoku Endura, but this time I thought I’d put my faith in KC...

Anyone know how hard these scales would be to swap? Wondering how the pakkawood would look with the black.
