Re: Wharncliffe pacific salt??

The biggest holes to me are the lack of a production Spyderhawk and the lack of the Endela Salt (both leaf and wharnie). But a wharnie Pacific Salt is also something to consider. I wonder how many people would like a Wharnie that size though? Is the Endura wharnie very popular? I LOVE my Delica and...

Wharncliffe pacific salt??

Surely a wharnie pac salt has to be on the horizon. Seems like the only hole in the salt line up right now, and IMO would probably be the best ounce for ounce cutting machine in the group. Would love a nice hollow ground h-2 in spyderedge..

Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??

I just got this one and can't believe how well it cuts. The may be the best cutter I have in my embarrassingly large spyderco collection, even inches out my serrated police 4.

Re: What Spyderco folder would make a great fixed blade ?

We need a fixed blade hawkbill salt, like a tasman. I would carry that thing everywhere.

Re: Hawkbill Grail

I'd love a fixed blade version of a tasman myself, maybe with a little thicker stock and spyderedge.

Love those scales, and it's cool to see them on the Emerson Endura. Did you mod the blade finish yourself?
Thank you, Yeah I did a little acid etch/ stonewash job on it. I like the way it turned out, although it does collect rust a good bit easier now.

Noticed this in the catalog also, would be great if the endura ss followed suit to screwed together police.

Re: Stretch XL discussion

Handled one today and was amazed at how light but simultaneously solid it felt. The backlock seems extremely refined and strong as well. I don't which it is screaming for more, the salt treatment or some k390, both would be instant legends.

20220628_094238.jpg After the mating ritual is complete, a 6 month gestation period will begin resulting in a brand new knife, the Military 2, being born into the world. Unfortunately for the young knife, life will not be easy. Between collectors, youtube reviewers, internet know it alls, and the c...

Re: The Completely Unnecessary Military Appreciation Thread!

Dear T-1000: Thanks for your question. The Military is a very capable knife and certainly suitable for self-defense application. Its disadvantages in that role, in my opinion, include its tip-down carry, the generous cutout for the lock release, and the lack of a trainer version. Tip-down carry req...

Re: The Completely Unnecessary Military Appreciation Thread!

Dear Rollbar: Part of the reason for the flat screws is to facilitate a four-position clip--as in the transition from the Para Military to the Para Military 2. The liners on the original Military don't support that, so there's not much advantage in making the screw change. Stay safe, Mike Mike, Hop...
