My Rex45 PM2 order is still in their system.
And probably will be forever... Or until it's cancelled. Campsaver still has a listing for the grey G10 Maxamet PM2 which isn't coming back in stock either.

I received an order successfully from Campsaver (although not for a Spyderco). Fast shipping and well packaged.

Re: Nick's question of "why"?

I agree about reviewers who don’t use their knives but that is different than forum members who are casual users and who like to buy and sell. Shouldn’t we be supportive of each other even if we come at it from different angles? It is a diverse hobby. Some folks like buying and selling and some fol...

Well I preordered it from Amazon since they have a listing for it. I figure if it pops up somewhere else sooner I can cancel at Amazon. Or just get two!

;)
Get in a pre-order at Campsaver.com and use the 20% coupon!

Re: Para 3 exclusive at River's Edge Cutlery

Anyone here get one and not like it??? I've recently seen the light on the Para 3 and now I'm kicking myself for missing this one. I assume that those who thought it was ugly didn't buy it (at least initially). At this point since demand went stratospheric, no one really cares what it looks l...

Re: Finding the Para 3: The Perrfect Storm

Designing a product is about making choices and compromises. I think we can all agree that Spyderco puts a lot of thought into the design of their products. As part of the Military/Paramilitary 2 family, the Para 3 has a look and functionality that carries the same DNA. The blade shape, clip and lan...

A dealer on the big auction site just posted PM2 Rex 45 for $149.99 free shipping.

I purchased one for back up,,,,, 4 remaining.

Price is $179. Maybe it was an error when listed for $149.

Re: Smock Flipper

Thought it was time for a bump on the Smock, really looking forward to this one. Unique design and new (for Sypderco) push button compression lock.

I could see some great sprint/exclusives if it's popular enough.

The Smock is one of the remaining drops I have interest in. Put in an order with Campsaver, the 20% is too good to pass up.

Re: Crazy deals @ Sierra and other places

I understand what your saying, it's frustrating. Frankly if it was that important, I would have checked with the retailer first before ordering or purchased from a retailer that I've done business before. Just saying you could have done your part to minimize your risk.

Re: Crazy deals @ Sierra and other places

Not sure having an order cancelled qualifies as a bad experience. Inventory errors aren't uncommon.

One of the well-known reputable dealers cancelled my PM2 Rex order due to overselling. It happens. They refunded my money and I moved on. No big deal.

I do miss the jimping though and I really feel that this should be a CQI update. Choil and spine jimping would really make this pretty much a perfect little knife.
The Lil Native has jimping on the spine. Just a lil but it does have some.

Re: Burnt Orange Rex 45 para 3

I felt really bad for the guy who got a defective one from Bento Box Shop, no returns so they won't take it back and Spyderco doesn't have anymore to replace it with so then Spyderco gives you a credit for their store and that's all you get Frankly if it came down to it, I wouldn't put up with the ...

Re: Crazy deals @ Sierra and other places

The Chappie will be my first Taiwan Spydie. Interested to compare the quality to not only my other Spydies, but other Taiwanese knives and tools. Ive always just thought of Taiwan stuff as awesome quality at crazy low prices for the most part, so I balked at the high prices of the Taiwan Spydies. I...
