Garret, jesus man that is beautiful super jealous of the m4 military.
The Civilian is definitely the scariest pocket knife ever produced (for good reason). What the heck is that lil guy between that and the manix?!

Re: changes in blade thought across the years
Oh man, was a rambunctious little boy I was... I was obsessed with swords (mostly katanas) and fixed blades. My first "knife" was a 20 dollar hunting knife on Ebay that looked like a scimitar. Not sure what it was made out of, but I do remember the pummel coming off the handle several mont...

Re: Show Me What You Got.
Top to Bottom (as if you already didn't know)
Manix 2 Lightweight SV110 (I've already had the pleasure of accidentally slicing my finger with this blade, and it was a very clean cut).
DLC Shaman
and, (of course) PARAMILITARY 2 DLC DIGI CAMO.

Re: No Love for the Shaman?
The shaman is my favorite knife this company has ever made. I removed the little nub on the choil, tweaked the lockbar so it bends from further back, not from halfway along the lockbar which eases the lock release without sacrificing much detent, and deepened the recess in the g10 so the knife coul...

Re: No Love for the Shaman?
Follow up. Everything about this knife is amazing and well thought out. I originally had the stone wash version, but ended up returning it to get the dlc at a lower price. People talked smack about the finger choil, but you can literally set the knife blade edge down and it holds itself up perfectly...

No Love for the Shaman?
Good Evening Spydiefans, I went over to my local surplus store and handled the Shaman after watching several reviews online about it. First off, how can you not be intrigued by this knife (it is literally the first thing you see on Spyderco's website for USA made) and it was crafted by none other th...

Re: SpydieChef - Out of Stock
I picked up the Shaman at my local store instead of the Spideychef... it would have been 260ish out the door, and after handling the shaman / hearing the reviews I jumped on it. But I still keep thinking if I should go back and swap it for the chef before it is too late. So idk, I have 2 weeks to ma...

Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??
Late to the party... but for over a year I carried a black on black plain edge tenacious and it was the best pocket knife I ever owned. For one it was a Christmas present, and my first Spyderco... It was love at first flick and I instantly gravitated toward the patented "Spydey Hole". Thes...

Re: Returned my BladeHQ PM2 DLC M4
Off she goes, waiting on the refund. Thinking of going with either the bentobox para 3, the sv100 pm2 or going to my local store and see how much I can get raked for a Spydiechef... suggestions?

Returned my BladeHQ PM2 DLC M4
To be honest, this knife out of the box was a disappointment (especially compared to when I bought my first black / digi camo pm2). The action was rough, the blade itself had small but noticeable blemishes in the light, I did what I could to remedy the action within the confines of warranty. I was a...

Re: How do you rate BHQ's new M4 PM2 over others
Edgewise, CPM-M4 definitely seems to hold it's own in that category. I think the main concern I saw from other users was "Corrosion resistance". I'm hoping the DLC coating will help mitigate this issue, but I don't have much experience with this type of steel myself so I cannot say. I trus...

How do you rate BHQ's new M4 PM2 over others
Good Afternoon everyone, as the title suggest I'm wondering how do you rank the new DLC coated m4 PM2 from Blade HQ versus other Sprint Runs or limited editions (of the PM2). Compared to the other steels offered, such as: s35v, m390, sv110,52100, Elimax, Cruwear and Maxamet (probably missed one) wha...
