This is a Mac's Brass SST50 EDC flashlight that I bought via candlepowerforums (link). The maker has also a webstore (link) but it is temporally shutdown:

Another Moki-made beauty: Kiwi Carbonfiber http://araneomorphae.de/images/forumpic/Kiwi_CF-2.jpg Very nice. The carbon fiber that Spyderco uses with their bolsters + CF knives looks really great, particulary when it is lightly contoured. This irregular pattern is much more attractive to me than the...

Corrosion is the reason why I don't like pinned construction with liners...but the caly 3 and/or caly 3.5 are so awesome in hand, it's hard to resist and to not like it.

not tempting for me. Brass will not tarnish as fast as copper or bronze. I believe that it is also harder. Brass is really nice but the alloy may contains a bit of lead to harden it. I would prefer an alloy without lead. In a sweat palm it tanishes quite fast. After a couple of hours playing and us...

Finally received it. I much prefer the (beautiful) thin grind of the MT18 over the one of the MT17. I only have 3 differents MT. MT18 is the thinner, followed by MT16. I was a bit deceived by the "blade thickness behind the bevel" of the MT17. I thought that MT geometry were the same for b...

just wondering! would love to be able to snag on or the other - i can't find anything anywhere online. Did you find an online shop that accept to ship an exclusive spyderco to international locations with decent shipping fees ? I didn't. UPS, fedex, etc are so expensive that it dissuades me each ti...

The smoothest of my spyderco knives and by far is the nilakka probably by dint of its pivot bushing and also to the liner lock that is quite thin = less friction while opening & closing. The native 5 that also use pivot bushing is not as smooth because of the friction of the back lock. The smoot...

I have removed rust from other knives in the past with oil and a scotchbrite pad, but it has always left small scratches on the blade. Is there a way to remove the rust without marking the beautiful CPM-M4 blade? Scotchbrite is quite agressive for steel, particulary when it is new, hence it is used...

Thanks! I ended up getting the ZDP-189 Caly 3.5, but it hasn't arrived yet. I received mine last week. The blade is quite thin and well grinded = also thin being the edge. It's a beautiful slicer even if some materials stick a bit due to the important blade width. Alas it doesn't "shine" ...
