For me, the quintessence of Spyderco shapes is the Caly 3. (Caly 3.5 also). Closed or opened it is perfect, Contrary to the delica or endura for example, that have a gap between the back of the blade and the handle. They are very nice tools, as a ton of Spyderco knives, but there is something missin...

I don't miss the tail cap switch at all. In fact, I'm preferring the interface without it, which surprised me. And though infinite adjust sounds cool, the spacing on these three settings is pretty close to ideal, for me. Infinite adjust would be a fun toy to play with but not really required for fu...

45% off is back again (check your email). Works on the Ti UKPK bringing it down to $88 and the Breeden Rescue for only $80. $0.99 shipping applies again as well. I would have liked to be able to grab one. Very expensive international shipping rates http://forum-images.hardware.fr/images/perso/cerve...

I don't shave myself with knives, only with straight razors.
Shapton glass #500, #2000, #4000, #8000 for straight razors, but I only use #500 free hand for my knives.

ZDP, I'm looking at a ZDP Stretch, you might like a change from the Endura every once in a while. I too recommend a Stretch ZDP189 if you don't mind a shorter cutting edge length (than the endura) in exchange of a better hand grip due to its handle shape (+ finger choil). If you don't mind to leave...

The K2 is in the top5 of my "wish" list despite the handle à la millie and a blade shape with too much belly for my use. It seems that there is no insert between the lock and the tang, and on one of the picture a mark could be seen on the lock. Maybe dirt(y oil). http://spydercollector.fil...

I still like P60/D26 hosts (L2P, Xeno G5) for mono-18650 flashlights. I also like 16340 (Sunwayman V10R Ti XP-G, V10R Ti+ XM-L, HDS with seoul P4 high-CRI (not on the picture)) and 18350 (simple, small and awesome RRT01 XM-L2)

I guess I'm the only one here that doesn't care for bolsters. The damascus Caly 3 with CF and bolsters looks great with this combination. Personnaly I don't care about the extra weight of an handle with bolsters has long as the blade is in stainless steel (bolsters = no blade maintenance to check r...

Since MT18, I'm obsessed with a Caly 3.5 in S110V, with the same carbon fiber as the sprint run bolstered caly 3, but without bolsters this time. Micarta (black or dark burgundy) will be fine too. CF thickness of the caly 3.5 in ZDP189 is a bit to thin for my taste and hand, so a slightly thicker an...

It uses conventional screws + washers.
I would have liked that at least the spacer was titanium. With titanium liners and spacer it would have been an awesome knife. Like it is, it's just great.

I don't think that the Mule Team program was made to be forum exclusive. Enough with exclusive knives, there is tons of high end steels PM2 hard or impossible to purchase at a decent price for international buyers ! Filppers have probably an arsenal of solutions to register 10 accounts on the forum ...

Raising the price is a "great" idea folks. I live in France and for the last 2 mules (1 for me + 1 for a friend) I paid a total of 211,22€ (ordered from the SFO (45$ for shipping + 26€ for my country taxes (20% of the items price) + 15€ for customs (fixed) fees for paper works). That is 30...

I suggest selling just 50 or 100 blades per week over several weeks might give more buyers a chance to purchase. Sorry but it Will not solve the problem. If there is 700 pieces for 1000 people, during the first run there will be 1000 people for 100 pieces, the second time, 900 people for 100 pieces...

Maybe it's time for the purchase limit to be one. Or it is time for you to ask to your wife or sister/brother or friend or whoever you want to be ready at 10:00 (MDT) to buy one for you. It's pretty easy and simple. (Message from someone who ordered 2 MT18 (1 for him + 1 for a friend) in order to s...
