Ended up caving and picking up a Stretch 2 from KnifeCenter.

I usually prefer the "thumb flick" the spyderhole as it is more translatable to more knife platforms, particularly thumb studs.

Mine is excellent. It's the first Spyderco I have purchased that will free fall 100%. Might have to tighten it. Love the color and DLT's shipping was top notch.

It's not really advertised, I suppose, so you may want to check your local Academy Sports. I neglected to mention the sale was on select BM knives as well. Picked up a Freek for $68 including tax.
