I've not heard of any Paysan fakes at this point. Considering a integral I kind of doubt there'll be counterfeits made but I've been wrong before

Another one I often forget about

I can vouch for the Carbon Fiber and LW models having I believe different stop pin locations, so the blades cannot be swapped. Not sure about the other full linered (non-nested) models. Thanks for the responses, fellas. Sharp Guy, that's encouraging info. I'll probably hold out for the BD1N version, as I'm not in a hurry to add the Manix but I eventually want to add that knife to my Spyderco lineup. Something tells me that I'm going to love it. $40 more for the LW than the Maxamet/G10 Sage seems like weird pricing.

I didn't look for purchase price but based on the MSRP I figured it had to be more than the Sage 1 G10 Maxamet. I like the Sage 5 LWs but I'll stick with what I have
