Joe, I'm not an expert eBay user. I filed a claim with paypal. Would you happen to know how to file a separate complaint with eBay? When you call PayPal they will get eBay directly involved. eBay owns PayPal. You may have to have multiple communications with PayPal. I did find they were very helpfu...

Welcome to for forum, occidio! With the exception of damage caused by dropping or chipping the white rods should outlast most casual knife owners who choose to sharpen their own knives. The Grey/Brown rods will wear on the edge and will eventually need to be replaced once the flattened corner no lo...

Fit and finsh seems poor. Unlike any other spydies I've ever seen. Already contacted the seller. This puppy is going back to where it came from. Shucks... It's too bad :( ..... I and the few other guys have mechanically good knives. But if I were you I would do exactly what you are doing. Return th...

I have both. When I go into New York City, which is real restrictive about knives, I end up using the Bob T more than the UKPK. As others have mentioned the Bob T has a really nice feel, look and it's has black CF scales (sweet), I also like the long drop point very much. In terms of opening and clo...

I keep a cheap Cold Steel Roach Belly in the kitchen, and use it to cut vegetables, fruits, etc. One time I noticed some discoloring marks on the blade that I could not wipe them off using a dish washing sponge. I then tried my trusty rubbing alcohol and the marks came right off. Just something for...

Interesting pics, blade looks nice. Can't help but notice what looks like a step between the full blade thickness and secondary bevel. I don't know if it's just the lighting and shadow or not. Has it been modified? Just curious, might be a light trick on the eyes. Never had any oxidation problems w...

I've haven't had any staining on my manix 2. but I guess its possible. You should post a picture of your polished blade. Forgive my photography, no photo booth (for lighting), no PhotoShop (for tweaking). If you use cap cod cloth you have to be careful because it's so strong it can actually rub off...

Are you talking rust, dark grey areas, or something else? I've had dark grey areas form on VG-10, S30V, and ZDP-189. The blade of my CF Stretch looks almost like a two-tone grey camo most of the time. Deacon, I am talking about what can best be described as dark speckles, not rust. And general dark...

154CM Staining and Tarnish Issues
I posted this in a thread, but I think this question was misplaced and deserves it's own thread. Have other people experienced this with 154cm? A few nights ago I was fooling around with my Manix 2, blade type 154cm. as luck would have it, I fell asleep with the CLOSED knife in my hand. I woke up a ...
