Re: Need a replacement screw for my LC200N Salt 2, Spyderco hasn't gotten back to me.

Alternatively to the advice alrea...

I’m in for Cruwear. A sprint like what they’ve already done with the Ayoob or Stretch XL is in mind.

I prefer that old school natural feel. Not a fan of BBL.

Re: Crazy Good Deals Part 2!!

https://dackoutdoors.com/product-manufacturer/spyderco Dack is running a pretty good sale today — lot of products about 50% off MSRP. I’m tapped for knife money this week, but if I wasn’t I might be snagging a stainless police for $111. I seem to recall these guys can ship a little slow so be prepar...

I swapped Police 4 and Resilience LW blades into G10 handles. They work perfectly.

Not normal IME. Over the years I’ve contacted Spyderco probably 5 or 6 times and always had a satisfactory outcome, even when I maybe didn’t deserve it.

Happy Rextober! Been sitting on a GP knives exclusive for a while because I couldn’t figure out what to do with the white handle. I’m easily impressionable so when I saw the “Rextober” thread and a bottle of tangerine Rit on clearance at Winn-Dixie — here we are.

Re: if you could only own a 5 Spyderco knife collection:

In no particular order, I could get by with the following just fine. Delica, Military, Police, Native, Ladybug. Now if I have to further specify blade shape, steel and edge type it’ll get trickier.

Re: Japan had been etched out on verified C01

Not familiar. Just a guess-- maybe a previous user did it as a statement? In the 80s I think made in Japan products were still derided by some. Not to mention if the user was American and old enough to have experienced WW2 they could have really anti Japanese sentiments. https://i.imgur.com/DEgF6wW...

I have a C01 (early) no hole, fat and skinny scale, not beveled. One the blade side one "SPYDERCO-USA" on side two "SEKI-XXXXX". Where the XXXXXs are the word Japan has been obliterated by a grinder/dermal tool.

Is anyone familiar with this "defacing"?
Pics?
