I've cut plenty of zip ties and thick poly banding at work with S30V knives and haven't experience any chipping yet. Yep I’ve encountered this with s30v, it took some heavy reprofiling for it to settle down.

It’s hard for me to pass up the 940. Ordinary slicer but does everything else so bloody well.

Just an update to let people know Bloke is fine. Dealing with the smoke but otherwise safe.

I would take a framelock over a linerlock every day of the week but maybe not in the case of the comp’ lock. The position of the lock bar means it’s just not as functional to disengage.

I would prefer the button lock. Apologies if I’ve stepped on your toes with my suggestion Uraaguy.
