Re: Ergonomics
The Dragonfly is a master example of superior ergonomics. Back locks rule, by the way. Very easy to close one handed. I love the DF,and hope Sal will make a XL version. That beign said,i have small hands, but the Endura fits me like glove.Back locks may not be the funniest to play with,or the fastes...

Re: License the Tri-Ad lock for Byrds?
Speaking of which...I gotta go nag Sal for a Spyderhawk sprint. Silly JD is at it again ;). Per Sal, an orange FRN Spyderhawk Salt sprint is in the works. It is a great time to be a Spyderco and Byrd enthusiast (much like it was to be a Cold Steel enthusiast before the stampede to Carpenter stuff)....

Re: License the Tri-Ad lock for Byrds?
The tri-ad is CS selling point so i dont think they will let it go.I do think its more strong then a regular back because of the stop pin,but for me its very hard to disengage, and i dont use my knive as a weight rack or as holds on to do my chin-ups.All the locks made by serious companies are strong...

I second the outfittercountry store on Ebay choice. They ofer free shipping for most of their knives, and the ETA is reasonable. Also, their customer service and comunication are great.

I love the Reverse, which is kinda a fixed blade P'kal.Great edc knife, besides its original purpose.soundshaman wrote:Anyone enjoy the p'kal? I've always paired it with a utility blade like a pm2 but I wonder how it will work as a all in one edc blade.

Re: SD knives as Workhorse
I have a great respect for Janich, and i think his take on using a knife for SD in a non lethal fashion in higly inteligent and valuable in our modern world. With all that said, the Yohimbo wasnt for me.I had one,and i realy tried to like it,but the thick hollow grind, the partial ocluded spydie hole a...

Mine will be an XL fixed blade Dragonfly.Roughly the size of a Mule, with a bit slender, ffg blade, full tang, same handle ergos as the folder,S30V steel, cobalt bl...

Re: Knife & Watch
In my mind the brand homologue to Spyderco in the watch world is Casio-especially the G shock line.Inovative, tough, highly functional, and beautiful because, and not in spite of those attributes.Apparently i'm not the only one :)
