not you jack. you gave good info. AJF said he doesn't like my attitude. some people...they just like to stir things up when there is nothing there. I thought I would add that when I did the cutting test on the cardboard the knife wasn't super sharp. so, it could have been the added pressure getting ...

Get a necker or try out an ankle strap sheath type system using a thin blade and wear tube socks if concealment and fixed blade is what you want.

I have no attitude. I'm just stating the facts. I purchased a sprint blue spyderco delica 4 zdp-189. I tested the steel (with factory grind) out by cutting up some cardboard. After doing so I noticed micro-chipping in the blade. Now, I don't know if it was just a bad heat treat or what that caused t...

I wish I could get one of these "thin" ZDP blades...I can not seem to ever get mine thin enough :D lol, you must only cut paper or arm hair with it and think it's sooo sharp. well, I use scissors for paper and a razor for shaving. @jackknifeh no steel should chip out from cutting cardboar...

Or you could try reasoning with the retailer and return it, I mean you kinda did buy it on accident. ZDP truly is some fantastic stuff but make one with a thin grind and it will truly shine! provided that you don't cut cardboard with it. had the sprint blue saber grind solid zpd and it easily chipp...

I recently got this. I work as a finish carpenter and as someone who used all different types and styles of utility knives over the past 30 years you could say I know my ****. I'm a loyal Home Depot customer and Nascar fan. So, you know I hate shopping at Lowe's. But, I happened to be there the othe...

I'm really looking forward to this knife exactly as the prototype looked at shot. Much like the lionsteel sr1, just make the glass breaker a personal removable choice and please give use the tools for it. Instead of a wooden box. I would like to see it come in something original like any type (prefe...

I have never had a knife blade chip, but I don't use hard steel blades on metal. You can take a Stanley wood chisel and chop through wood into concrete - and get chipping. A harder steel will also chip out on concrete. I have never had any blade chip using 440C, D2, M2, 154cm, ATS34, VG10, or ZDP-1...
