Very nice. The arrival of the ffg LC200n knives makes me hopeful to see the dragonfly hawkbill come out in ffg PE eventually.

Re: Coming back to the plain Delica 4 after experiencing the entire lineup

My experience is very similar to vivi's. The D4 was one of those early models in my collection and it's thinness along with the reliable and trusted VG-10 blade steel quickly won it lots of pocket time. Eventually I collected many colors and varieties of the classic. Hundreds of others have come thr...

A little voice in the back of my head was wishing for Reveal 7, but I understand these things take time.

Re: Endela K390 in Blue

I’m coming out of retirement to thank Sal, Eric, and the crew for making this knife. It’s about as perfect as an EDC is for me. Endela is a Goldilocks size, K390 I asked for in threads since 2014 and the Mule, and blue is always a fave. Another straight spine Stretch in any config would be great to...

Re: Reveal 6 Live!

A real knife guy problem when you're still waiting for Reveal 5 items to hit the dealer shelves and here comes another wave of awesomeness in the form of Pac Salt 2 in LC200N - finally we are going to get to see some head to head comparisons between hollow ground H1 and ffg LC200N. The shade of gree...

I think you need to try a Military. Fortunate for you that they can still be found in a variety of premium steels now and edge configurations

Re: Spyderco/flashlight match-up.....

Thanks to fellow forum forumite Blerv's recommendation a while back I picked up one of these Reylight Pineapple lights in solid brass with a terrific high CRI Nichia 219 emitter. This is my first warm white led light and I've been carrying it well over a year now. It normally stays in my car and goe...

This is another classic that Sal brought back. Maybe we could see it in the burnt orange FRN with HAP40? I think the Superblue sprint sold well.

Re: I have a new girl friend and my wife is fine

Glad you are pleased with your choice. I'll stick with my new Samsung though I am not as pleased with it as I the hype suggested. Judging from my forum photos of old, my Note 3 had better optics than my last phone (S7) and this new S20 Ultra has better processing, but the optics are still lacking.

Re: Any interest in more Phil Wilson collaboration?

Hi Pancake, the knife in the photo with the veggies is actually a South Fork. Hard to see it has a rounded butt and the angle makes the blade look longer than actual. The Coyote Meadow is a trailing point but with a stick tang stacked handle and machined brass finger guard. Phil I stand corrected. ...

Re: Any interest in more Phil Wilson collaboration?

Hey foofie and xceptnl! Those two are reall pretties! . This is the custom I picked up from Mastiff many years ago. He had it made special by Phil to focus on slicing performance. I love it in the kitchen and at camp. It's been so long I can't even recall what the BTE measurement is. https://64.med...

Re: My EDC fixed blade carry method

Thanks for sharing Vivi. I certainly want to try something more versatile like this. One other take away is that I need to lay off the sweets and do more crunches. Although it is not as comfortable as yours is, I love my owb Mule sheath that Marcus made for me many years back. I have multiples of th...

Re: Sal, Can We Form A Collective, And Order An Exclusive?

The real barrier to this happening will be settling on what knife/steel/scale combo to buy. I’m totally down to buy 600 copies of my perfect knife with y’all. My enthusiasm for buying YOUR perfect knife, though, could vary significantly. Collective action is great for some things. I have not found ...

Re: Any interest in more Phil Wilson collaboration?

The partial tang really does make for a nice balance on a longer blade, but I'm sure it'll make a shorter knife like the Smoke Creek an almost dream. This is the custom I picked up from Mastiff many years ago. He had it made special by Phil to focus on slicing performance. I love it in the kitchen a...

Re: K390 IS "The M4 Killer"

I like how almost a year after the BBS K390 PM2 is out (and not sold out), the m4 pm2s are still selling for more on the secondary market I'm tempted by something tool steel as a work knife... This is an epic time to be in the market for a tool steel knife. With such an amazing selection available ...

Since we are discussing the Smoke Creek model....would you like to see one with the finger choil or without it? I saw pictures of this model with and without it, so what do you think?
I would prefer the finger choil like in the photo I shared, however it wouldn't be a deal breaker for me.
