It's just a pin not a rivet. It's to replace the screw and barrel assembly of the old stop pins. It should just come out when you take the knife apart. Spyderco is using this on the new military and native 5 lw too.

Totally different feel in the hand and in the pocket. The para 3 is much easier to hold and slices quite differently and better IMO....although it has more a pocket presence.

IDK....just make more native 5 LW's with some cool metal and scale colors.

I couldnt decide, and love the para 3....so i ordered both.

Anybody have, or know where to get, some brown or (green or purple as a 2nd) FRN scales for a delica 4....? I dont want to have to buy a 5th delica in that color just to have it, b/c i dont need anymore VG10 blades, so ive got my fingers crossed that somebody has a take off set.
