Very cool color combo, and I love seeing older models brought back for sprints. Might have to check one of these out.

Re: In search of the perfect EDC flashlight

Well I was going to carry the Nebo today since the A33 has been getting all the love, but the clip popped off and bent due to me having the audacity to try clipping it to my pants pocket  If I had a dollar for every bad flashlight pocket clip..... So I went with the A33. It fits my flashli...

Re: H1 Serrated vs LC200N Serrated

Sorry to bump a 2 year old thread, but I’m really interested in hearing new information about this head-to-head matchup. It’s come time for me to pick up a Pac Salt 2 in SE, and suggestions about which steel to purchase would be ideal! SE LC200N Pacific Salt - Lighter, full flat grind works better ...

https://i.postimg.cc/vHj85Q0T/20210701-020208-HDR.jpg Put this edge on it the 26th and have EDC'd it since, using it for all my cutting outside the kitchen. Still able to scrape shave. Bit surprised to be honest. I figured shaving sharpness would drop off quick and it'd hold a utility edge for a fe...

Re: Which spyderco is in the mail?

Yellow Pacific Salt 2 H1 PE I'm going to dye green then blade swap with my black H1 PE blade. Resilience I'm going to (hopefully) scale swap with the black blade CE release. Looking to have a blacked out G10 Resilience eventually. Would go full SE but last I heard they're only doing CE. Hope the G10...

Re: In search of the perfect EDC flashlight

I have an olight on my bicycle. It's a nice headlight. Very bright, exceptional run time, USBC charging and a power bank feature that's nice if my tail light runs out of juice. Most of their EDC flashlights usesome proprietary charging methods and I try to avoid those. If the baton 3 had regular USB...

Re: I'm going to EDC PE H1 until August

I've also got both blade types in LC200N now too and have rotated since LC200N became available. I can only say qualitatively I do notice an improvement in edge retention on the LC200N, but not a tremendous amount, especially when H1 is left somewhat course as you said. Interestingly, and I've noti...

Just ordered a yellow PE Pacific Salt 2. Plan to use the dark green dye I used on my M4 Chief. Might swap my black blade into the handle afterwards so it matches the Chief!

Re: Esee S35VN Izula

I'd be interested in seeing thinner Izulas too. Nice seeing them offer more steel options, but it wasn't the 1095 that made me stop carrying my ESEE's. Thick grinds, heavy for their size, required modding to get them where I wanted etc. I still have an Izula left but I can't remember the last time ...

Re: Cliff Stamp has passed away

This is very sad news. Cliff was an extremely intelligent person the got me and countless others interested in steels, geometry, ergonomics etc. on a deeper level. I had a few private conversations with him and will always remember him for his deep knowledge. I still reference his old reviews to thi...
