Re: Fishing Fixed Blades

Would you guys consider the Sprig a bird and trout knife, or is it better suited for fish only?

Re: Corrosion Resistance Ranking of Stainless Steels

Can I assume 52100 goes with 1095, or is it as rust prone as Super Blue?

Re: Poor man's gentleman's knife?

Maybe I'm just stating the obvious, but wouldn't the Chicago be the best knife to carry in Chicago? I love mine. The BD-1 steel sharpens easily to a razor sharp edge. It's small without being too small, and the G10 scales keep it classy. I got mine from National Knives for $45.00. Besides the Squeak...

Yes please! What a great little knife. I completely agree an M4 version would be about perfect.

"Never Forget" engraved on the blade. I've said it before, Spyderco makes a model called the 'Police', but this is the real Police knife.

Re: Early Impression of the Urban LW K390

This is my favorite of the small Spyderco knives. I have a UKPK and the Denmark PK was my EDC for quite a while, but for some reason I find the size of the Urban to be perfect. I'd love to see this as the folding Mule. Maybe we'll get an Elmax model again ( I hope ).

Urban Mule Team Go!!

More 52100 ?

I see this steel mentioned occasionally in different threads. Does anyone know if Spyderco is ever planning on using this again? So far I'm a big fan of my Military model and would love to see a Para 2 or 3 as well as a Native.

The Urban LW would be a perfect platform for this steel.

The Firefly. I think it's beautiful, but for some dumb reason I can't make myself buy it.

Re: Urban K390 in stock

I've been carrying mine for a few days now. What a great little knife! Just a little bit smaller than my UKPK, but feels very similar. I really like how difficult it is to close the blade on this one. It's definitely not going to close accidentally. I don't know what else to say - awesome knife!

Re: Does anyone EDC a slipit, if so what are your reasons? Pros/cons. Thanks in advance

I don't know why, but I really like the slipits. I started with the UKPK and when the Denmark PK came out, it was my EDC for a long time. I even bought a Ti Squeak to carry on my wedding day. Maybe because they are a little old fashioned, or simple, or whatever. I just love them. I have a K390 Urban...

I just saw on his Facebook page that he has a Mouse 2.0. Really hoping Spyderco can offer one some day.

Re: Reserved Colors

Green doesn't seem to really be tied to any steel. I have a green 204P Military, and it looks like the same color green in the upcoming HAP40 Caly. I kinda wish they'd done a burnt orange G10 for that model instead.

Re: Sal: C04 Sprint Run? (or a new C09 CoPilot Sprint Run)

The more I've thought about it, the more I like the idea of a brass liner. Together with an aluminum handle would make a sharp looking little gents knife. Tool steel or stainless for the blade? I go back and forth between the two. It seems like most gentlemen's knives are stainless, and I'm not sure...

Re: Sal: C04 Sprint Run? (or a new C09 CoPilot Sprint Run)

I think it would definitely have to have a metal handle. A G10 or FRN handle would change the personality of the knife - IMHO. It's been a while since we've had an aluminum handled knife. That could be fun, and maybe cut down the cost?
