Re: Reinhold Rhino Update
Thank you - those are great pictures. That first photo really helps put the knife in perspective. I love the size!

Re: Halpern Mule scales
I never though to do that, but I bet it would look great. What colors are you thinking about? I checked the fit on mine, and it's pretty tight.

Re: Final Four
For small, I think it would be hard to beat the Urban. For a do-it-all fixed blade, I think any one of the Mule Team knives would work. You can tailor the blade steel to what it is exactly you would be doing.

Re: Reinhold Rhino Update
I apologize if this has already been asked and answered, but does anyone know if the handle will be a full, four-fingered grip? It kinda looks like it was made for only three, but it's hard to tell.

What impact will the steel tariff have on knives?
I'll admit, I'm not the most knowledgeable when it comes to international issues like this. I was wondering what (if any) impact this might have? Will knives made in China and Italy now be more expensive than Golden made models?

Re: More Urban Sprints Please
The Metropolitan would have FRN handles, but the Cosmopolitan would be fancy - titanium and translucent red G10

Re: More Urban Sprints Please
Maybe I'm in the minority, but I hope the Urban goes back to 2.5 inches so it'll be legal just about everywhere, and then we can have a slightly longer 2.75 Metro for those of us who live in areas where knife laws are a little less restrictive. Plus, who doesn't just love a new model?

Re: More Urban Sprints Please
I keep hearing people talk about Vanax. The little Urban would be the perfect introduction.

Does anyone have a list of European steels that would be available?sal wrote:Hi Paracelsus, Lbblue,
Welcome to our forum.
I'll watch the thread. My preference would be to use European steels as shipping costs keep the price more reasonable.

Re: More Urban Sprints Please
I think this came up once before, and I remember everyone agreeing that the Urban would be the perfect folding Mule Team. The little K390 was way, way better than I ever could have imagined. Now I think about how great an LC200N, A11, etc.. Urban would be.

I don't know why they don't just send samples of new knives to Lance to T&E at this point.

We are definitely due a UKPK Sprint. Make that linerless G10 in yellow and we'll have a winner!

Re: Petition: make all PE Salts in LC200N
I think the Dyad was discussed on another thread and the clear winner IMHO was a LC200N PE blade and a serrated H1 blade. Honestly, I can't imagine a more useful setup than this. Put it in yellow/golden rod G-10 and you'd pretty much have a perfect outdoors companion.

Great looking knife, but I wish Spyderco would at least consider making it in BD1.

I just reached out to DougC-3. If everyone buddy's up, we could help out quite a few fellow members

I'll be there. If anyone is looking for a particular knife, we could buddy up with other members, exchange emails/phone numbers and look for a couple knives on their wish lists. Anyone else?

Now that I've seen it, I wish the Salt series had come with that same fish scale pattern - how awesome would that be?

Re: Salt Series UKPK
I'd like either the UKPK or the Urban. I've been a fan of the UKPK since it was first introduced, but the little K390 Urban is probably my favorite now. LC200N would be a perfect balance to that knife.

Definitely the Ayoob. It gets brought up so often, I'm really surprised it hasn't been brought back yet.
