Re: will there be a shaman in magnacut?
Will Magnacut be as universal as S30V and 154CM before it? Who knows but it looks perfect on paper and has good reviews from the first custom knife makers using it. I hope that using it as a Salt series steel first doesn't pigeon hold it and I doubt that it will. I am interested in seeing its toughn...

Re: Recommend Some Aftermarket Micarta
I have three sets of RGT PM2 scales, two canvas and one burlap. Fit and finish is great. My most used one has developed a warp between the bottom grip screw and the lanyard tube. I think the full liners are a huge improvement for the micarta scales. CQI for a feature Spyderco hasn't even done before.

I am in the same boat. Ended up with one of the defective Sirens. Email with no response about a week ago. I was going to start emailing every Monday until I get a response.

Re: C-60 Ayoob Campaign: No I Won't Shut Up
How many would buy or not buy the Ayoob CruWear G-10 Sprint if the street price (MAP) was $300? So Japanese comps would be: The Civilian C12GS is G-10 and VG-10 MSRP $348.50 MAP ~$243.95 Karahawk is G-10 and VG-10 MSRP $373.00 MAP ~$261.10 Roc is G-10 and VG-10 MSRP $289 MAP ~$177.82 So if MSRP is ...

Re: Spyderco 2022 Lists: Delivered & Upcoming
https://youtu.be/4SxywV_P2ic I like that GP just let him talk about the knives. Some of the interviews are brutal. The Massad Ayoob is crazy exciting to me. I've always wanted one. He never mentioned the blade steel of the sprint did he? Cruwear has been speculated because of the gray G-10. Or is C...

Re: PM2 steel, only one knife
I’d like to buy only one more knife, a PM2. I have a WATU for EDC at the office that I love, a Siren for fishing (en route), an the best, a Native 5 for everything. I’d like to get a large carry. While the Shaman is great from reviews, the Pm2 has more options and availability. Thoughts on REX45 cu...

Re: PM2 steel, only one knife
I like my M4 and Cruwear PM2s the best. The gray Cruwear sprint was my EDC for many months after it came out. Cruwear really blew me away honestly. Both are awesome performers. It's the corrosion resistance of the Cruwear that is most impressive to me. On par with D2 and the barely stainless XHP (2 ...

Re: Ti Framelock with drop point blade?
I bet any RIL Spyderco is going to have a Taiwanese origin. I may be one of the few but I love the classic Spyderco drop point blade shape of the GB1 and the Stretch. So a RIL GB1 or GB2 run in PSF 27 would be awesome. ~$300 MAP...

Re: Spyderco 2022 Lists: Delivered & Upcoming
At $230 each and 800 pieces made it’ll take a while to sell out. I doubt it. It is a PM2 and the flippers will suck them up! We’ll see. The SMKW PM2 M4 DLC Fat Carbon Fiber were $199.99 and the last batch took a while to sell out. The BladeOps PM2 Elmax G-10 from September 2021 was $179.00. It will...

The Stretch XL with a MAP around $112.35 is going to sell like crazy. Only 2.7 oz!!! I'd like to see it in LC200N.

Re: Fraden Lock Co - Yet Another PM2 Exclusive
https://i.imgur.com/sRlBHb8.jpeg The carbon fiber is really nice IMO. Better than the Fat Arctic Storm in that it's smoother and shinier. Action isn't nearly as smooth as the SMKW PM2 which is the smoothest DLC Paramilitary 2 that I have owned. I imagine this Fradon Lock PM2 will break in. I mostly...

Re: Has the Paramilitary 2 ship sailed?
The Marbled Carbon Fiber Elmax exclusive has an MSRP of $310 so I think MAP would be $217 but they're asking $229.95 which might be (is) hurting sales. I think they could also advertise it for cheaper than MAP since it's an exclusive, right? I don't think MAP applies for exclusives. But seeing the ...

The Marbled Carbon Fiber Elmax exclusive has an MSRP of $310 so I think MAP would be $217 but they're asking $229.95 which might be (is) hurting sales. Blade Ops just having an Elmax exclusive for about $50 cheaper with gray G-10 can't help either. If you scored the blade ops and upgraded to carbon ...

Re: Has the Paramilitary 2 ship sailed?
I started the thread and I am one of the biggest PM2 fans. I have almost all of them and wish I had more. I like other models but it is my favorite by far. I hope it never dies but I'd like to see Militaries, Native Chiefs and Sage 5 exclusives. Can an FRN Paramilitary 2 with liners be lighter than ...
