Hey ilikeknives, you're welcome! Don't judge other forumites early, usually we all are a helpful and friendly bunch. Maybe we are getting a little "thin-skinned" lately, because recently there were quite a few "quality issue" threads around here, where lots of us couldn't see tha...

Well... pics would help to see what you mean. Meanwhile.... assuming we're talking about the Lum glasssfiber "CF", here are a few pics of mine. In fact, the pics make it look much worse than in reality, besides the aera adjoining the liner lock bar. I don't know if it came that way or if i...

$90? I saw it listed on the spyderco website for $219. Was I looking at a special model? Where can I find it for $90, I'll pick on up tomorrow at that price. Actually, you're looking at the Paramilitary 1 there: http://spyderco.com/catalog/details.php?product=34 http://spyderco.com/pix/products/med...

Perhaps it could be the LADYBUG Tatoo he is talking about. ARAIR, I already saw a pic of a "tatooed" SS Ladybug recently.

Go ahead and try the sharpie trick. Paint the edge with a sharpie and do a few strokes on the SM. If it looks like this: http://i160.photobucket.com/albums/t194/Murdoc370/CIMG8015.jpg you're good to go because you are hitting the very edge and will end up with a sharp knife eventually. If you see so...

Unfortunately, it is not that easy to order in the US when living in the UK, since there's always a chance that the parcel will be caught by customs followed by quite bit of hassle to get it from them. Additionally, the recommended insured and traceable international shipping costs ~$35, and finally...

PE: plain edge SE: serrated edge CE: combi edge (SE+PE) Well, it all boils down to personal preference. If I was in your shoes, I'd probably go with a Stretch. You can even choose between the steel "quality" (VG-10 or ZDP-189), with ZDP being a "harder" steel hilding a reasonably...

You will have to give a little more information to help us find the "right" knife for you. Just like the fact that the model doesn't have to be "legal" to carry in the UK, there are lots of other aspects that need to be taken into consideration like: - intended main use - Preferr...
