Re: Lunchtime purchase decision

I don’t have the para 3 so I can’t comment on that but do have the pakkadelica and really like it, great knife. Probably one of the nicest Seki knives I have. I love the hap40, it sharpens very well as already mentioned. I have the fluted cf native with s90v, that has been a challenge to get as shar...

Picked up a Foundry and a Techno. Thanks for the info.
I've been eyeballing the Foundry for a while but went for the PITS, nice grab. I really like XHP.

Welcome to the madness... I mean forum.

Re: Delica deep carry clip

I have had good luck with the mxg gear clips on my delicas. I have been using the clip in raw titanium. Its item number is 102071. They also make a clip similar to the Lynch clip. JonesE I like the MXG clips also. I’ve used them on a few of my knives. They are slightly thicker than the Spyderco cli...

You beat me to it. Both of my CF Chaps are chamfered. Not a lot but they are not dead sharp.

Huh…all this time I thought it was a choil for the tip of my thumb to fall into when closing, kind of a safety thing…who knew? Still a great knife. I have two of them slight recurve and all.

Thanks for the info. It's hard to believe it picked all that up relative to a target on a desk next to it, pretty amazing stuff.

Interesting how it wouldn't pick up the pivot screw on the left side. Reflection?

Re: spyderco sure is sucking

One of the best ideas to come out of this thread is the design for a new Spyderco Knife called the 'TANTRUM'. It is mythical knife that shows up in the catalog but never gets manufactured. It is so amazing that everyone wants one but somehow the release date always gets pushed back to the next year...

I do the same thing. Should have saved the $ I spent on the diamond rods for the Sharpmaker and put it towards the KME in the first place. It's a great combination.

I love this knife. It seems to make it into my pocket more than any of the others listed below. I have rounded the edges just a little bit more with some 400-grit and it feels noticeably better in hand.

Wow, I didn't notice that. It does look like a "C" or at the very best a pretty lame "G".

I've never seen an "E" like that with a rounded hook at the end. But that doesn't mean there couldn't have been at one time.

A light knife that's FFG and a good slicer( blade thickness not to exceed 3mm) with a blade between 2.75 and 3 inches. And not too heavy. I'm partial to wire clips a...
