BTW, I did check. The catholic church doesn't yet have a saint for alloyed steels and the always near broke Steel junkies of the world that you work with daily. Say the word and I'll submit paperwork to begin the beatification process. I don't think you even have to be catholic :) Just don't point ...

Haven't been active in the knife market really for awhile, but I think this one might just be a must own. Has just about everything I could want in a knife. Congratulations on a great score!

And don't forget what a funny and fickle beast ebay is. I've seen knives have fluctuations of over $70 in a week period.

Thanks for the update Taz. Dear Mrs Hunter, Hat's off for you lady. As a newbie i see great knives at reasonable prizes. I don't know why people don't realize how hard it is to keep a small company running and priorities to set... Maarten :) I don't think the initial enquiry and people agreeing (aka...

To be fair to the seller, I emailed him and he emailed me back pretty quickly apologizing for the mistake. I got the impression that it's one of those ebay retail stores where people bring in goods to sell and the guy who brought it in told him it was titanium (can't verify that).

Got me a Navigator 2. Already sent it off to STR for some custom green micarta slabs and low-rider clip. The size and ergos on this knife are perfect for me. The VG-10 surgical steel is too sharp OTB. This will be my EDC. Thanks for the tip. Oohhh, that sounds nice! Sierras a bit weird, their price...

I find this an interesting discussion. For those in the know, I think this is one of the best knife co. websites due to the excellent forums here; however, not very long ago when I was a bright-eyed knife newbie (I'm still pretty new!) the site could be a bit frustrating. I think two little and easy...

Lost a good one...

Went out to Vegas last week and had a great time, but somewhere along the way I lost one of my favourite Spydies. My Quince Kopa went missing :( I just hope that whoever found her takes good care of her and shows her the respect she deserves!

Vegas Questions

Hi everyone, I'm heading out to Vegas on Monday for the first time and I had two questions. First, what are the knife laws like there? I was thinking of taking a waved Delica and a Quince Kopa. Not that I really need a knife while I'm there, but you get used to carrying them... :p Second question is...

[quote="Peter1960"]Some time ago I had a C42 / AUS-8 and noted the same "liner problem". Can't remember if the main pivot pin was adjustable or not. Spyderco solved the "liner problem" with the second variation of the C42 / VG-10, this has an adjustable main pivot pin t...

Viele (Original)

Just picked up an original Viele C42 in the AUS 8 steel, and my first two thoughts are that this knife is definitely underrated and that at the price, it was a steel (haha, sorry.) This is a really classy looking knife with the micarta on both sides, and the smooth micarta under the clip means that ...

I completely agree. I've got the G10 Cara Cara and Meadowlark, and they're fantastic knives. I'm eagerly awaiting the new Catbyrd, looks great!

I've done exactly the same as Bolstermanic. Been collecting just over a year and started out big and have been carrying smaller and smaller. Had a large Persian and Endura (still carry sometimes) and Cara Cara and a Benchmade 710, but now I usually carry a Kopa or waved Delica (two great knives by t...
