So, am I correct to assume that as the ukpk Magnacut is nowhere to be found on spyderco.com, that the listing in the product release was a mistake and therefore it is also not yet queued for production?

Releasing gazillion sprint runs and limited editions instead of sticking to a release plan (which was supposed to make everything better and more reliable).

For me personally S90V is way ahead of the other two. But I only use it in small and thin slicing folders, one being an opinel mod.

I prefer S90V over a lot of other steels, even m390... but maybe I am just imagining things. Using diamonds plates on a guided system and a diamond paste loaded strop it feels like it is easier to sharpen and deburr. Never had the pm2 and the manly or the custom opinel chip on me. But I try to avoid...

As a German I second Wartstein's thoughts. Sure it would be awesome to have a legal EDC, even better if it were like a large slippie like the Kapara version. But I would rather have something cool than something legal to carry. The only no go would be something illegal to own like Bali song/butterfl...

Well in the area of totally wishfull thinking would be the still missing but promised Kapara slipjoint version I'm am interesting sprint... okay okay I do get carried away now..

I really like mine, but sold it because it was so hard to open, wish the cutout would have been just a tad bigger... oh well... but really an awesome knife.

That's what I meant with business decisions favouring models like the pm2 and the manix. They just sell. Personally I'd be fine with anything, but I am also know to carry a pm2 when not heading into town... Though generally speaking I would prefer something with a smaller footprint than a pm2 And I ...

Totally in for it, and I think that lamnia is also the better choice than say knivesandtools.

One should differentiate between what is perceived as general sales. K390 has never been a big thing in production folders, even less so than M4. Basically spyderco is the only company that uses it on a regular basis... Not even lionsteel who knows the steel uses it except for sprint like runs. Plus...
