i realy like the alox models..victorinox pioneer, and i carry a red alox pioneer and wenger si and these are definetely my fave slipjoints..classic,great quality and super functional in a simplistic way, that always take me back to my junior pocketknife carrying days..there's always place for a good o...

Some serrated beginnings
To give a little more attention to the 'underdogs'.i started the avalanche with my Spydie love, with an old fave'Delica3 full serrated'which was not only my 1st Spyderco, but my only pocketknife,at the time, except for a Leatherman Juice C2,which was a humble, but fair start. Who would have known,it wou...

Some serrated love
Its ironic how often a full serrated Spydie find its way back into my pocket,so i can appreciate Spyderco serrated cutting on some tough material and just rippin through it with ease. I dont always see alot of pics of full serrated Spydies..they seem to be the underdogs, who needs more attention,or d...

I have one of those Gerber mini field sharpeners..but i prefer the Lansky one's with the removable cermaric rods. They are quite adequate. You can touch an edge up nicely,on 154CM,VG10 and even S30V,but i wouldn't try ZDP189 on these..i carry these fieldsharpeners in my edc kitbag with my multitools ...

In the event of an attack from some1 threatening your life,if im not trained in unarmed combat,i would use the closest sharp or heavy object i can find and friggin use it. I carry a knife atleast 1,or 2 most of the time. Even when im jogging i carry a D4Wave or another fave BM Pardue 530 as a SD wea...

Internal parts of Salt knives
Im real curious as to what materials are used for inner metal parts of the Salt knives. Is it possible that the lockpins could be titanium? I presume that the lockbar is H1,like the blade.i know for definite that the pocketclip,is titanium.

Question on D4 steel liners
How rust resistant are the liners of the Delica4 range,if the knife gets emerged in water.i can dry of the D4 but water can still be trapped underneath the liners and cause probable rust. So are the liners of good corrosion resistance?

Any pics of modified FRN handle Spydies?
Have any of you guys modified a FRN handle Spyderco. maybe to ease the use of the Spyderhole like the FRN C41 Native.Basically changed the shape of the handle to ease usage of the knife. I have started doing this with a FRN Native of mine.FRN is actualy easy to modify. You can carve away at it like ...
