Re: Victorinox photo and discussion thread!
Thanks. It really is hardly noticeable, but just enough.

Re: Victorinox photo and discussion thread!
No. Other end of the blade. I just tweaked the shape more to my liking. Subtle, but more point, less bullnose. Before and after shot...

Definitely not either of those two.

Re: Where's the kick?
It's visible on the Rock Jumper. The finger guard is just extended to cover it up. The other could have the lock bar's inside raised to reach the smaller kick area, but is probably a pin like the Chaparral.

Re: Show your mods!
Jazz how did you do that mod? I used a Dremel tool with a reinforced cut off wheel, diamond bits, a sanding bit, and a diamond disk for the top. Dipped in water to not ruin the heat treat. For the edge, I cut some with the reinforced wheel, diamond bits, and diamond disk. Various sandpapers and a s...

At $137.00 Canadian for the Dfly, and $162.00 for the Delica, I’ll probably only get the Delica wharnie, maybe. Lightweights are getting kind of ridiculous here.

Re: Something we don’t see enough of
Tim had his own company for a while, blade tech. It seems that after his retirement the company moved away from knives and now only does holsters. Maybe there could be a revival of his Spydie designs. Well, I didn't know that. What do you say, Sal and Eric? And yes, it is a heavy knife because of t...

Re: Something we don’t see enough of
The liner lock still has a lot of life left in it, I'm sure, but that's one of the reasons I dislike them. Back locks all the way. Anyway, I bought this long ago before I knew this. Still, regardless of lock, it's solid, and an excellent knife. I use it rarely because I'm just being paranoid of wear...

It was my first Spyderco too, I think. I think second was the original Para.
That’s awesome, blues. I can see why Jerry liked it. It feels exceptional, and works.

Something we don’t see enough of
One of the most comfortable knives in hand. No sharp edges, and lots of beautiful curves. Sure would be nice if a back lock was possible. My liner is almost all the way over. Anyway, some pics of the large Wegner. I wish I had the small too. https://i.imgur.com/Vr1JFXN.jpg https://i.imgur.com/g97OtN...

Mine now has a HAP40 blade in it, but this older pic is the VG10 in the Salt handle.

Re: Wharncliffe blade: Delica or Salt 2?
The Tuff Lite is harder to open, and the lanyard hole is at the wrong end, and the Delica is superior in every way. I have both, so not just saying.

I see you on the SAK forums. Good taste you have. This blade is actually cooler than I expected. Still lots of blade after the grinding.

Now that is an interesting idea... mower blade mod. Maybe blender blades. I have a lot of time right now. I cook for a living. Closed up until...?
