Re: Is it possible to get a ballpark ETA on DLC Military 2's?
I don't own any "blacked out" models, but that SE/DLC is utterly irresistible. I'm in the same camp as David, I'll hold out for PE in an upgraded steel and grab the SE upon release.

My GB Spydie collection is missing the GB2 & Nightstick, but I feel they'll be easy to pick up in the coming years...his designs need to be in hand to be fully appreciated. In my opinion...the function factor is unmatched.

Re: St. Nick’s Exclusive red and black Goddard!
I really like the design considering it came out in 1990...but I'm not sure it's enough to make me pull the trigger. I appreciate SNK resurrecting designs of the past, and am curious about the molds, since it's FRN... I'm sure it will sell out quickly, I just don't know if I need it in the collectio...

Re: Removing Left Over Sharpie
I keep a 200 pack of alcohol wipes on hand for everything from wound, electronic, optic, blade and spot gun cleaning.
Acetone will take any sort of marker off your blade, but I prefer trying alcohol first, if using acetone just dip a q-tip into the acetone and wipe the marks away.

I used to live about 8 miles from him a decade ago, and drove by his house/workshop on a regular basis. I always thought about stopping by or offering help but never did, what could have been...
I wish him the happiest of years.

Re: Kitchen Knife Shape Opinions
Here's a few I'm looking at.... ***First is a Enso 6.5" Nakiri, VG-10 and Micarta, factory-second for $80.00, I may grab one of these for me? https://www.cutleryandmore.com/enso-hd/nakiri-knife-factory-second-p138853 ***Next are these two carbon Moritaka's, a Nakiri and a Santoku. A little hig...

Re: How much longer is the addition going to take?
Not to be repetitive, but I agree with Enactive...just having the walls up does not mean they are ready to start cranking out product, even in phases. Based off of the pictures we have seen, I would expect the expansion to start production no earlier than 18 months, and more likely 24-30 months from...

Re: How much longer is the addition going to take?
In my experience, construction doesn't work that way. We don't know what their finish-out, much less production schedule is...at the rate they are going, I would say at least 24 months, but that doesn't include machine or gear lead-times plus any unforseen delays, much less hiring and training new c...
