Re: Direction and Magnitude!
I'm definitely a big fan of the Magnitude! Before handling the prototype I was debating whether or not to pick up a Rubicon. The Magnitude blew the Rubicon out of the water for me and I picked one up as soon as I could. It's not carried super regularly due to the amount of knives in rotation, but I ...

Re: Does anyone wear a Spyderco necklace daily?
My level of envy is immeasurable :o Please keep me in mind if you're ever going to part with it :p :o I know the feeling. I feel the same way, :D every time I see a photo of some of the rare knives in your collection. This one was a gift from Sal :) so it is even more special. You are currently sec...

Too bad on the Caly, but good to see you've already started the hunt for another Spydie!Knifenutwill wrote: ↑Mon Oct 19, 2020 2:32 pmI lost. Next week i'm going for a brand new black salt 2 SE. My first H1 plus it would fit right in with the Delicas
The Salt 2 will surely tickle your fancy if you like Delica's :D

Re: Post your Carbon Fiber Spydies
I'm pretty sure these are all my CF's, but might've missed one...
(in the middle of moving here, so a lot of stuff is packed away :p )
The Spyker is silver carbon-fiber twill, so I figured I'd include it.

Re: what's best back pocket knife for doing stupid things?
I'd say take a proven design like the GB, or get one with a blade stock thick enough to withstand most degrees of stupidity :p
Something like a LionSpy or SuperLeaf.
I could check the collection when I'm home from work to snap some pics of suitable ones if you want

Re: Happy Birthday DutchBlades
Thanks!! :) I had a nice quiet day with family and went fishing with a close friend afterwards. Celebrated with a smile on my face, a nice cigar, and whisky in hand which he brought along with him. And to top it all off, my girlfriend is getting me a Sun and Moon Chaparral as a belated birthday pre...

Welcome :) I hope you enjoy our community!
And I can relate to getting used to holes in knives...
At first I found it a bit odd, but it's the other way around nowadays :p
(great choices on the Chap and Sage by the way!)

Re: Show off your latest purchase
Congratulations! I’ve had my eye on this model for a while. It speaks to me. I had it in the back of my mind for quite some time now. The opportunity arose, and I decided to just grab it. Turns out I absolutely love this model and should've gotten one way sooner! It's a unique design and a great ge...

Re: Kris: Reborn
I will say that if possible I'd like to see the sprint in a VERY stainless steel. One of my concerns with pinned construction in general is the inability to fully clean out corrosion if it happens. That concern is minimized if the steel itself is less likely to present an issue. LC200N Kris? Don't ...

Re: Kris: Reborn
With the fanfare that the KRIS model has attained over the years it really baffles me as to why it never took off when it was on the main line up. But it isn't the only Spyderco model that gained popularity after it was discontinued. I could name off at least 8 of them off the top of my head. Yeah,...

Re: Kris: Reborn
I think the Kris was an exceptional design. The original maker can no longer make it so Eric is working with another maker to see if we can sprint it. sal Yes please :D I love the Persians, but the Kris has to be my favorite! It's one of the few knives I had to hunt down a backup for so I could bri...
