Re: What's missing from the Salt line
Para 2 in vanex. I mean they’ve done sprints and exclusives in every other steel under the sun. Why not a bright yellow or green g10 para 2 in vanex for the salt line.

I’d say quit looking at them and use the knife and forget about it.

Re: Swayback Lookout Thread
Ok, that's seems reasonable. Somehow I thought that that area has to be stainless, but i messed it up with bearings, bearings on titanium are not great , but PB washers on titanium are ok. I have several Titanium frame-locks from various manufacturers that run on bearings. I haven't taken them all ...

Re: Three Rivers Manufacturing Neutron
I love my neutron. It and the atom have been my most carried knives since I got both a couple days apart in June. The neutron I bought on Bladeforums and the atom I just got lucky and ordered on trm’s website. The atom showed in stock one day so I just ordered it. Marianne e-mailed me immediately, a...

I had one of the original ones. Sold it a long time ago. It just didn’t do it for me. That said I’m not ruling out an impulse buy of the BladeHQ run.

Re: Who else is getting an Ikuchi as soon as they are released?
Mine came in yesterday. I was kind of luke warm on it right out of the box. Within the first few minutes I stabbed myself in the finger (thanks New Graham for the included band aids). But as I've spent more time with it yesterday and today I think I am going to really like it. Nice thin design, nice...

Re: What's The Best Deal You Have Made on a Spydie?
About ten years ago I picked up a NIB SE C54 Calypso for sixty bucks on clearance at my local spyderco dealer. It had been in the case a while and they were trying to get rid of it. love that knife.

Re: February EDC Challenge
Sure. I'll go with my carbon fiber zdp caly 3. A three inch blade is all I need and if I am supposed to only carry one for a month I might as well make it a classy one.

Re: Favorite 2018 Sprint
Caly Jr. I was so excited I bought two, one to use and one to put away in case something happened to the original. After a few months it just seemed wrong to have a perfectly good knife sitting unused, so I gave it to my brother. He loves it too.

Re: What do you consider the most practical EDC?
Usually a single folder is more than enough. Usually a caly 3 or para 3. Though lately I've been pairing a dragonfly and a Microtech OTF. If for no other reason than they are now legal.

Re: Your top 5 Sal Glesser designs?
So my favorites designs to use and carry would be the caly 3, caly jr and para 3. Or course the genesis of those were the original C54 and the Millie. That would be my top five. Who knows if those great three inch blades would have come along if not for their big predecessors. I don't really have a ...

Re: New Model Dropped: Calypso Jr. Super Blue sprint run (PICS)
I agree there is no issue with the grip on this knife. What I love about the design is the simplicity. Great blade, super light weight and great ergonomics. It is great in its minimalism. You want jimping, too bad. What tip up, too bad. It is what it is and nothing more. Nothing to over analyze or o...

Re: Handled a Kris and Polliwog Today
I read this and pulled my ss poliwog out of the drawer. I bought it when it first came out but I don't know that I ever carried it more than once or twice. I inspected it closely seeing how much these things are going for now. As odd as it may sound I was pleasantly surprised to find a few faint scr...

Re: Spyderco Sprints: Are they a valuable investment or not ?
I suppose if you hold on to a certain high demand sprint for a few years that you could probably make a few bucks. However, every knife I've ever bought I purchased with the intention of using. Those that I didn't like or didn't feel right in my hand I sold or traded away for something I thought I w...

Re: KnifeCenter Para 3 Cruwear
Mine arrived yesterday, and the new clip came in today so it will finally see some pocket time. I really dislike the stock clip on these. I love the smooth g10 and I'm sure it will be a lot easier on my pants. I stepped away from this forum for a few years and missed out on a bunch of exclusives and...
