Welcome aboard! Just started here myself recently. Don't worry, your history with collecting and your recent infection from the Spyder bite will have you making your own custom Spydies soon enough (or saving up some serious dough to get some of those beautiful Santa Fe Stoneworks customs)! Spyderco ...

Well tonight my Tasman was set free to the great Atlantic ocean. It somehow came unclipped from my shorts and is long gone. Hopefully someday some lucky soul will have it wash up on shore to them and they will be blessed with a good knife. Your great offering to Neptune will surely be rewarded with...

While both sets are super cool, I definitely think you've made a better choice with the black! It sets a better contrast against the bolsters. For some odd reason, your white version makes me think of a Viele Phoenix...

The Gayle Bradley is pretty nice. Maybe choose two or three options and then send them to your wife? That way she can decide and the knife will have that added value. +1, that's a good idea. Plus, it may be nice if you returned the favor with maybe a Ladybug or something similar (may keep her from ...

Thanks endgame! If anyone tries to do this scale swap, please post pics and let us know if you have any issues (I am sadly smurf-less for now).

Were which ones priced the same as KC? Spyderco sells their own stock at MSRP (unless on sale) from the Spyderco Factory Outlet (SFO). These are listed as "out of stock" on their website (pic above) because I don't think they've released any stock of them yet period (not that they were all...

Thanks JNewell and senorsquare, that's what I was hoping. Not sure I'm adventurous enough to give it a try until I see some more reports of others tinkering with theirs, plus whether or not the new pivot screw design will affect such a swap. As you said, since the CF M390 is a pretty recent version,...

Does anyone foresee any issue with swapping the blade on this new blue Millie with the CF M390 Millie, making a smurf blue M390 Millie and a CF S90V Millie to match the PM2's (and to restore order to the universe since we all know that S90V blades are best mated to CF)? What do you think? (Mine hasn...

^^^ (Sorry, haven't quite figured out how to post pics properly on this site with my Mac).

Can someone else try to buy a ton of them through the US sales link and see what you get?

True, but most of the new knives in the mid-season supplement haven't shown up on the Spyderco website yet (and others like the Cruwear Millie that was supposed to be out sometime this summer/fall isn't even listed in that catalog)...

For those of you who managed to track down the original black micarta version, has anyone spotted the PE variety? I understand that the SE versions were produced in much greater numbers. Endgame, you need to upgrade from that Kindle because you need to post pics of all your cool new finds. :)

My recommendation to complement that starting lineup would be a Caly 3.5 or a Stretch ZDP-189, both very reachable on your budget. A Military or Paramilitary 2 is also well within your budget (well, not the blue BBS Millie!), but... in the case of the PM2 a month may not be long enough to track one ...

This Dragonfly is a great addition to their orange FRN lineup!

I got my sister a pink Dragonfly for her birthday a few months back, and she raves about it every time I talk to her. It's always in her pocket.

Do you have any other Spydies? That will help narrow the field a little...
