Re: Discussion: What do you think is the best size for an EDC folder?

Here in the great State of Missouri where I'm living we are blessed with a 4 inch blade length limit for a folder. Since when did restrictions become blessings? To answer the original question, I've found the Para 3 LW to be a great size for my use. I suppose the G10 model could be inclu...

Re: New to the knife scene

The Cruwear Micarta is a bit of anomoly in that we didn't make near enough. Our bad. So they can be hard to find, expensive, or impossible to find. sal Maybe there are some in a box lost in a closet somewhere. Nudge. Hint. Wink. ;) If it makes you feel any better, I didn't think they would sell so ...

Re: Which direction does the spring go when installing it in a Stretch?

The longer leg should go in the backspacer. The end of the short leg usually goes behind the step in the lockbar.

Stupid question: Is the end of the spring touching the lockbar?

Re: Interest in a Super Blue Para 3?

All 3 of my samples of Superblue have had blades warped towards the non-clip side.. Move the clip to the other side for a while and it should even out. :D I'm a big fan of the Para 3 LW, so that would be my preference. Perhaps a Smurf blue would be fitting. Although, denim micarta would be fantasti...

I'm surprised so many have never heard of Knife Connection. I suppose they are more popular amongst the fixed blade crowd.

Might be a good time for another Jess Horn piece. Which one?

I'd love a throwback in white linen micarta with the smooth pivot "disc" and swedge. Super Blue or HAP 40 might be good sellers. Cruwear would sell out in 5 minutes.

Re: Is the Siren a Salt?

The description on the app says it has a secure grip for wet conditions. It's not listed as a Salt, but it has to be corrosion-resistant throughout. Otherwise, what's the point?

As an aside, the app also says it weighs 81,977 ounces.

Re: Best Spydie for kayaking and canoeing...

I did some kayaking just this morning. I had my Native Salt PE in my pocket, but I've been thinking of something for the pocket on my PFD. Perhaps a Salt 2, as it might be the largest that will fit, and I do love them. I'm also toying with the idea of a Pacific Salt on a retractor that will always s...

What steels and scales combos would one like to see?
Curtain colors and materials don't concern me much, long as they aren't pink or fuchsia.
What if they don't match the furniture?

Re: Straight-spine Stretch

Oh thanks for sharing; that's true he did mention ivory FRN, which is cool, because I don't think we've seen that before. If the current edge geometry was kept but the spine simply extended from the top of the finger ramp to the tip that would make a pretty wide blade wouldn't it? I kinda like that...

Re: Lil' Matriach Sprint in Hap40?

The HAP40 sprint has been carried out to more models/variations than before, to include the Delica Wharncliffe. I don't see any reason to stop now. I'm on board for any new Lil Matriarchs, especially plain edge.
