If I remember correctly (and it's likely I don't), the lightweight Manix was originally going to be clear. I thought that would look great.

I would go for that. I believe there was some discussion about it a couple of months ago. I would like to see ZDP with burgundy frn. Super blue would be great as well, maybe with blue frn.

I received a Super Blue Ladybug recently, and it had no paper. It was wrapped in bubble wrap.

One good thing about not being able to acquire this particular knife, is that I will have money for the next two or three. :D

I was always under the impression, that the factory seconds had cosmetic issues only, and the knives had no functional problems.

I have no regrets with the Sharpmaker. I usually don't let my knives get very dull, so a touch up is all that is usually required.

The Aqua Salt is one of those knives that I didn't buy when they were available, and can't understand now why I didn't.
I would definitely like to see them return, but I suspect slow sales is why they have been discontinued.

"Need" is probably a word best avoided in a forum where most of us have dozens of knives :) . But I agree, double edged daggers really aren't good for much. When one side gets dull you can flip it over and use the other side. It stays sharp twice as long as other knives. :D I've always li...
