Big thanks to Spyderco on my Dragonfly!

A few weeks ago, I sent my $5 Craigslist Dragonfly SE to Spyderco for a $5 sharpening, since I stink at working with serrations. Not only did they do an awesome job sharpening, they also polished the sides of the blade, which were badly scratched, and removed all the blade play from it! Thanks! :D

No Toad. Anything too rare, and I'd be afraid to use/sharpen it!

Just got a first-run Co-Pilot

Today's mail brought a first-run PE RH Co-Pilot, NIB. I got it for $45. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v187/bwperdue/co-pilot_1.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v187/bwperdue/co-pilot_2.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v187/bwperdue/co-pilot_3.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v187/...

Looks like a real one. I just don't think he knows what it is. Even if it's a fake, it can still be used in garden and garage.

The pic looked good, but the little weasel welched when someone else offered him $10 for it after he already agreed to sell it to me. Grrr...

USPS to Canada?

I'm possibly selling two knives (Ladybug and Dragonfly) to buyers in Canada. (I think they might even be members here...) Is there anything I should be aware of? Is it very much more expensive than shipping in the US? I've never shipped outside the US before.

Well, looks like I need to rethink my ghetto sheath...my Mule poked out the bottom and got me in the pocket this morning. Thankfully, nothing important was harmed.

I got mine yesterday. Did a quick cord wrap and made a cardboard and duct tape sheath so I can start using it. I'll be doing something more elegant shortly.

I ordered one yesterday. I'd like to use hex-head machine screws to attach the scales, so I can try different ones. How do those attach?

So, I got my Dragonfly today. Mine opens nice and smooth and takes about the same amount of pressure to close as my G-10 Delica. Here are a few pics of my Spyderfamily: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v187/bwperdue/spydies_1-1.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v187/bwperdue/spydies_2-1.jpg htt...

Mine is supposed to be delivered today (along with a stainless PE Ladybug :) ) I'll play with it and see how hard it is to unlock.
