Re: New Spyderco: The WolfSpyder

I'm sold.

Ray Mears? Copression lock? Ray Mears? Golden? Ray Mears?

Looks like a great EDC and the universal awesomeness of S30v is apparently underrated.

Re: Pocket knife perfection---Chaparral

This thread is making it hard to not own a cf chap. You should. Wally World has them at $94 online right now. Jet.com has them for $76 after coupon code 20now. Free shipping, no tax. Fulfilled by Redsgear.com. I just bought a backup... It really is perfection, and spends more time in my pocket duri...

Re: Best Lube for no-washer FRN Knives...

I started using the new (to me anyway) WD40 DRY LUBE spray when a clean pivot wants a little help. It works well so far and doesn't attract as much lint as oil or the regular WD. My new Native LW appreciated it. I had not heard of this product. I am interested in trying it because I personally pref...

My new Native LW appreciated it. Conversely, the perfection that is the GB1 doesn't seem to benefit from any lube. A comp...

I seriously feel so much better after reading this thread. Thank you.

Have you ever bought one that you didn't realize you already (still) had?

Re: Does anyone else wish that all LW versions came with the deep carry wire clip?

I would love a OEM part option from Spyderco. And don't get me wrong, the traditional stock clip works great and looks amazing. I just find myself carrying my wire clip knives far more often, and think they compliment the LW design very well.

Does anyone else wish that all Lightweight versions came with the deep carry wire clip?

Loving the Native5 LW, but really wish it had a deep carry wire clip. I have a couple of Casey Lynch's awesome deep carry clips that fit some of my Spydies with the traditional clip, but not the Native5 LW. The Cryo clip was a direct fit, but it makes me feel like a bad person (most likely going to ...

Re: Which spyderco is in the mail?

Just got my Native 5 LW today. WOW. I own over a dozen Spydies and never bit on a Native before. I guess I always thought it was a little ugly. First impression was that it was smaller and fatter than I thought it would be, but the ergonomics are spot on and the utility of it could be unmatched. No...

Re: Lets talk locks

Voted Compression, mostly because I want to see more knives with it. I like the ball bearing a lot, but wish it was as easy to disengage as the axis lock.

Re: Which spyderco is in the mail?

Another guy waiting for a CF Chaparral to arrive! Congratulations! Prepare to be impressed. I love mine. ;) Thanks! I got it about an hour ago and initial impressions are very positive. As an owner of a number of Taichung Spydies over the past few years, this guy lives up to the reputation of amazi...

Re: Help me choose a spydie-gift

I'm going through the same thing for my Dad's 70th Bday. He's a classic SAK guy, so I want to get him a larger working blade, but something he will actually carry because weight/size is a factor. At this point, I'm leaning toward a Sage1 or Sage2. I find them to be right in the middle size and weig...

Re: Black Friday deals

The Jet.com 20% off coupon has scored me many knife deals. Right now it only brings the Sharpmaker down to about $50, but the prices on the site change often. Most of the Spydercos ship from Reds Gear. I just bought the Diamond rods and Ultra Fine rods for my Sharpmaker and regret not buying them so...

Re: Bradley folder 2

I just put a GB2 on preorder and can't wait to do a comparo. My well used GB is still my favorite workhorse (maybe favorite knife of all time, seriously), and I have a BNIB backup just in case.
