As I stated, FIRST CHECK THE ECTS SENSOR!.........it's more then likely your problem........... They take about 5 minutes to replace, cost from 10-20, and take a 13mm socket to change. Also check the harness plug that is plugged into it for corrosion!.......go to the website I posted above, check in...

OK......hold on! First off, there isnn't a Timing Belt, it's a Timing Chain, and I seriously doubt that would be your problem unless you have over 200,000 miles on your car, or havn't done your oil changes in a timely manner. To go with the alarm, invest in a Self powered siren too. Get a good one, mount it somewhere (like inside the wheel well behind the plastic guard) good, and mount it secure. I think the older models may be the ones in the blister packs. Both of my G10 Cara Cara's and G10 Meadowlark came in boxes. One of my Flights came in a box and one came in a blister pack. The 2 Flights are different in the fact that the one that came in the box had Taiwan on the blade, in much small...

As one who is addicted to high end watch collecting, I still Love G-Shocks. They can't be beat for Durability, and with the Atomic addition, Accuracy!!
I picked up a new one today a GW500A-1V.....Solar and Atomic.....There is a whole new World of Cool G-Shocks out there!!!
