Re: Discontinued models on sale... what to do?!?
I was holding off because I already bought a knife this month and there are some things I wanted for another hobby. The fluted Ti N5 was a grail knife for me but then I got a 40th N5 which I'm thrilled with but don't carry or use much. So I figured I don't need to spend the money on another show pi...

You're not helping! :Djdw wrote:That was the one that I couldn't pass on. Mine came yesterday and it is a piece of functional art. It is heavy duty enough that I would trust using it as a hard use knife but beautiful enough that it feels like a presentation piece.

You joined this forum in 2010 and just bought your first Chap???
All I can say is, what took soooo long. :) The Chaparral has got to be one of the best.

If it's this one, I think I'd pass. But I'm not a PM2 expert.

Re: What's your favorite new release in 2017 so far?
Both of my favorites were surprise releases.
I was very happy to hear that the fluted CF Native was coming back from the dead and going to production. Ecstatic when I finally got it, it's a beautifully done knife.
The PakkaDelica was another great surprise.

Re: RN or CF Chaparral?
I've always been attracted to it but worried I'd find it too small for my EDC use and it ain't really a cheap experiment. But loving the Dfly2 as much as I now do, I'm quite warm to the Chap. I've found the Dfly too small for me and never carry it. The Chap fits my hand just that much better and yo...

Re: Gayle Bradley quality?
Between these two descriptions you should have it mastered in no time. I use the same method. I think you'd be hard pressed to beat the quality/value of a GB1. I have one that's modified for better access to the lock bar and one that's not modified. The lock bars on both feel stronger than any other...

Re: T6 thread size
thanks, good info, didn't realize there were different sizes. Depends, Golden: #2-56, Seki: M2.3 x 0.4, Taichung: M2 x 0.4. That's what I've found for the clip screws anyway. Thanks ron. :) I was a little curious myself because I can't change the clip position on my big Lum. Apart from where the cl...

Re: Pakkawood Endura HAP40 exclusive at KC
Just ordered two of those clips. One for the Delica and one for the just ordered Endura. They really look nice. That's funny, I just got two more in the mail yesterday. They're great clips. Hopefully the stock screws will be long enough. The MXG clips usually come with #2-56 screws. Most of the Sek...

Re: S90V Fluted Carbon Fiber Native 5 is alive!
Here’s a picture of the bottom of the handle. You can see the contour and how much narrower it is than the top. http://i.imgur.com/WdHmi4g.jpg If you look at the side view below you’ll notice that there is a pretty uniform pattern to the carbon fiber, it’s basically flat there. Then about 1/2 to 2/3...

Re: S90V Fluted Carbon Fiber Native 5 is alive!
It’s alive and well! I posted this over on BF, thought I’d post it here as well. Mine came today and I love it! The fit and finish is beautiful, the tension on the backlock is perfect. The unique “CLACK” sound that resonates from the CF handles when the lock engages is authoritative. I love the gro...

Re: S90V Fluted Carbon Fiber Native 5 is alive!
They're out of stock now, partially because of me. :DRamZar wrote:$215.97 (40% off MSRP) is the price to pay for this. New Graham Knives still has 3 left in stock.
Thanks for the heads up.
