Just finished devouring a Pink Lady and have a Honey Crisp for afternoon snack. Normally my Caly 3.5 is my apple destroyer, but I put an edge on the PM last night so it's with me today. My taste in apples is changing. I used to be solely a Granny Smith fan, but have come to enjoy many different vari...

I'd like to see more high carbon blade offerings.

I really dig the Super Blue. Easy to sharpen and takes a great edge.

Just use it and keep it clean.

It will develop character which is part of the charm of the knife. I have one in my pocket right now and about all I do is spray it with some Rem Oil (mineral oil) every few days and wipe it down.

Whipped dog is great. His poormans strop was my first. Glen (gssixgun) at gemstar customs also puts a real nice edge on blades.

My Poliwog made short work of a couple Pink Lady apples and broke down a few boxes today at work. The more I use it, the more I like this little knife.

I quit two years ago on Halloween and man did it suck for the first few weeks. I went cold turkey and it took a lot of determination, but is the best thing in the world you can do for yourself. Pick up an exercise program as you begin to taste food again, you will eat more and pack on some pounds. B...

Vertical play can happen and does happen in ANY mid/back lock knife. What is normally happening is the entire lockbar and blade are moving as one. The whole assembly can move up and down with only the lockbar spring acting as a force against it. When using the blade as a lever you can overcome the ...

Not a single knife guy, but I'm not far off either. I have two that I rotate between, a rock lobster and a g10 dragonfly. If the rock lobster were a little smaller, it would be my only knife. I use the dragonfly when the size becomes an issue. The dragonfly could take care of 90% of what I use a kni...
