Re: Serrata review

Seratta is not necessarily a bushcraft knife, if you can get in front of a chopping board you can enjoy it's cutting power without going out in the woods Sorry to hear about your condition Ultimately we're all dead man Ultimately we're all dead man [sic] Is that and a movie clip supposed to make me...

Re: Cost Cutting on Sprderco's Higher End Models, Why?

Regardless of the rather contorted rationale and irrelevant examples offered by the OP and his supporters, the basic argument is that anything other than using the “best” (a debatable notion), most costly materials is cost cutting which is a bad thing and short-changes the consumer. This is also ba...

Re: New 20CV Para 2!!!

Would love to try some 20CV, but my M390's work great, don't think I would notice much of a difference.

@BFK: It is Saturday night. :)
Don't drink much, but just put down some Dickel 12yr.

Re: Cost Cutting on Spyderco's Higher End Models, Why?

Sal, I have to say, you are about as transparent as it gets. It's kind of astonishing, but very much appreciated. I just find it interesting why business decisions are made. You have to know by now, that your not going to make everyone happy. Running a business is not easy. If I am not happy with a ...

Thanks guys. Might have been some of the pictures I have seen not being clear enough, thought they were pinned on both sides.
Salt 1 SE H1 is on the radar. :)

Re: Which salt knife?

I think they were. The ones I have seen on the auction site were all pinned. I like the endura handle, but prefer the pivot to be adjustable. Have to keep looking. Love H1 SE though.

DLC 3V, 4V, and V4E. DLC 52100 with Grey G10 like the Knifeworks exclusive Manix. DLC Cruwear. DLC Rex45 with Burnt Orange G10. Return of Maxamet...but with DLC. DLC coated LC200N full Salt with neon semi-translucent day glow yellow G10 scales. Are you seeing a trend here? :D Not a fan of DLC, but ...

Solid Super Blue Observations

Since I bought my mule, I have used it mainly in my kitchen, + at the park cutting up cheese, sausage, apples, fruit, etc. Seems to do a great job at all those tasks, and man does Super Blue like to get sharp. All my other knives are sharp, but this gets crazy sharp. Reading ahead of time before my ...

While I do listen to all of the opinions and suggestions by our customers, we will make our decisions based on our own value system. Sal, Can I ask why knives are chosen to be manufactured in plants outside of the USA?, i.e. the Chicago and D'allara? Both of those names hold more weight to me being USA made, over value?
