Anyone seeing the Polestar and Alcyone update to BD1N/Gray G10 thinking what I'm thinking ?

I'd rather see something between the Chief and the 5 in the Native family.

Urban and Roadie, a serious dark horse in the lineup. Cannot wait for the Roadie XL.

Exciting thread. I have a SE RockJumper and will probably add a few more if they become available in K390 or LC200N Salt. LeafJumper will be great as well…a nice companion to the LW Caly 3.5!

3rd on the RockJumper. Smoothest back lock I've used. UKPK, Manix 2, Native (Chief), Sage 5 LW. The bushing makes for an amazing action.

Reviving a necro thread here. Would still love to see this "lightweight" design come to light. Standard G10 over steel liners and XHP would be a winning combination in this design. That or an upgraded Astute.

Based on the fact we'll get the UKPK 3” and Metropolitan 2.75” my vote is to downgrade the Urban to 2.5” (despite my preference for the 2.6” blade shape). A Cruwear Micarta Native Chief would be amazing. Already linerless so nothing to mess with there, and it seems like a great platform for the steel. PE and SE.

I have laminated steel blades for my kitchen, and they work great for the specific usage. I only have mono steel blades for EDC though I'd be agreeable to trying one out in the right platform [cough, cough, Caly 3.5]. What are your thoughts/experience with laminated steel knife blades?

Exciting! Is this going to be a lightweight or G10 UKPK?

I'm in for any variation with the original (Pac 1) handle. Would love to see regular production LC200N in PE and SE.

Current favorite: Gen 1 Pacific Salt. Love the bolt through clip.
