Based on my observation, less. It also doesn’t get shiny like worn-in g10

Re: Para 3 vs paramilitary 2
I’ve owned both. Still have the para 3. This model fits all my needs. The s110v is a great steel for my primary cutting; cardboard. I’ve sold all my PM2s for the para 3 bc of the ergonomics. I like the sense of control I receive from the shorter blade. However, I’m really happy with CTS XHP Para 3. ...

Re: PMs in FRN please!
If those that have a delica in FRN and G10, can you weigh in, literally. I am curious to know if it will make any real world difference in weight while in my pocket. I’m not a FRN fan but it could be bc I only prefer models that come in G10.

Re: Sal, Can we get CPM 15v?
I’d be in for a Para 3 in micarta. But not the type shown above. Something more like the denim micarta that Northwoods puts out or a classy version that GEC has on their models... bone micarta or a white linen micarta.

Re: Chipped edge. Defective steel/blade?
A couple weeks ago, I bought a PM2 from BladeHQ. Because of that, I'm pretty certain the knife is authentic. I drive a FedEx truck for work, and over the past couple weeks, I've used the knife maybe two or three times. The extent of the cutting done with this knife has been plastic strapping around...

Re: Cutlery Shoppe Para 3 exclusives
You’re not going to send it in for repair? I wouldn’t accept that knife. I feel at $150 there’s no room for error, and you deserve to send it in. That’s a lot of money for a knife that doesn’t function smoothly. It’s not worth the risk. I’m in Canada. If I send it in I might never get it back becau...

Re: 20CV Lil Native
They should reinvent the native with a compression lock and wire clip then I would totally be down for it being the mule. Only 10 Para 3's released this year.. lol This ^ is my dream knife. I don’t own any native 5s bc no compression lock. The lil native is heading in the right direction. It also m...

Re: 20CV Lil Native
I would very much like to see an s110v run in Blurple. A blade this size would best be served with a super steel on the high end of edge-retention compared to high-toughness. Definitely compression lock and plain edges. I wouldn’t mind any sprints of the steels you suggested above given they be of t...

Re: Red Loctite Legacy...
So this is my first post in while and it's a bit of a rant. A while ago I dropped my 204p Millie and it developed some bad blade play. It's one of my favorite knives so a couple of days ago I decided to strip it down and reassemble it with new loctite. I got the body screws off using the end of a n...

Re: Really bad cut.
If you hit the bone you probably should get stitches. Gluing it shut isn't the best idea if it's really that deep. The problem I’ve had with CA glue is it doesn’t hold long enough. For deep cuts you need something that will maintain pressure for several days, and glue peels off soon because the ski...

Re: CPM REX 45 | Edge Performance
Funny how the Rex45 was so hyped and desired. Now you never hear anything about the 2 models released in this steel. Safe queens I'm assuming? My guess is it becomes more of a production steel we'll get more testing and feedback. Don't even see many pics of these knives posted in picture threads! I...

I’ve experienced slight magnetism caused by my wallet/money clip (magnetic) combo. Both go into the same pocket. It too eventually goes away on its own

Re: Spyderco M390 vs...
I have been guilty of watching too many Michael Christy videos and have pursued the edges he gets. I couldn’t do that with my Tormek (they would still be silly sharp) but the Wicked Edge lets me get mirrored edges... so that’s what all my knives get. Maybe it’s not the best plan for a working edge ...

Re: Finding the Para 3: The Perrfect Storm
Not much time spent with the rex. At this moment probably the s90v. It’s a good blend of toughness and edge retention while still being stainless. It’s been a hot and humid summer and it provides me peace of mind it won’t rust as easily when I’m sweaty. I rank cruwear second based on my usage and en...

Thank you gentlemen. You also may have noted the hardware change between the s90v and 204p. I like the silver on olive g10 better.

Sold off all but one PM2 bc the Para 3 quickly became my favorite platform. I also like trying new steels. I normally carry tip down back pocket.
