Why no love for M390? I can count on one hand how many times Spyderco has made a knife with M390. I know a lot of other manufacturers have used it but Spyderco, not so much.

I like m390 very much. Just seeking something new.

It would be exciting to see this in something other than m390. Perhaps cruwear or s90v. Didn’t they do a military in s90v?

I do have a preference. I like Compression lock. But I love Spyderco backlocks. Notice those golden Made backlocks are always really well-made. This is certainly true of a Lil Native. Plus there’s no little tab to whack Your finger when closing the knife. I realize some have had problems with this ...

I like tip down carry. I get that with lock back. I carry on the right side in my back right pocket next to my wallet. The compression is only tip up. However I am a big compression lock fan. I removed the clip on my compression lock model and drop in pocket when I’m in suit and tie for work.

I have both models. Excluding the clip, they are identical in width.

I am very interested. Mora makes a good wood knife and spoon knife but I believe Spyderco can make an even better combo. Something like the mora 120 and 164 would be great.

The jimping on the new Maxamet looks much cleaner.

Love my lil native compression lock. It’s on me 7 days a week. I own over 50 Spyderco’s. Haven’t carried one as long as this lil native. Can’t wait for a sprint or exclusive.
