Re: Which knife for my wife?

My girlfriend loves the Para3, I let her try everything I had in my collection, and she chose the Para3 because it closed so effortlessly and she never had to put her fingers in the way of the blade. I tried steering her towards the Native5 but her mind was made up by the compression lock.

Re: Spyderco Throwing Knives?

Thanks for the info! I feel like I'm leaning towards the small set, but I honestly wonder if they have actually done multiple runs of them. I don't really hear about them at all, I know that it's been 5 years or so, but I wonder how many first runs are sitting on shelves.

Spyderco Throwing Knives?

Has anyone tried out the Spyderco throwing knives? If so, what size have you tried? Small, Medium or Large? I don't own a set of throwing knives and know nothing about it really, but I'm tempted to pick up a set just for fun.

Any experience would be welcome.

Thanks

Re: Spyderco's Designated "Beaters"

For me it's an S30V Native 5 for most tasks around the house, and a GB1 for doing actual work. Both absolutely rock solid models in my opinion.

Re: Chaparral in Canvas Micarta?

I love the Chaparrals and would have a hard time passing on one with Canvas Micarta The LW Bi-Directional pattern is a little off to me, I may have bought one already if it was closer to the Seki FRN pattern. The others are a bit pricy. I'd love to see Micarta and a tool steel for $150 or less. Bon...

Very nice work! Obviously there are a lot of changes that would as you correctly labled, require a complete rebranding...I hope this goes somewhere though...

Re: Para3 lightweight stiff!!

Hi all, I received my first spyderco knife today, the para3 lw. Out of the box this knife was extremely tough to open and close. I have read plenty of reviews that this knife should be buttery smooth opening, but struggling to get it open from my experience. Is this normal or should I return the kn...

Re: Native 5 g10 rex45 alert thread

I keep wanting to grab this knife, but just can't do it. I can't justify that price when I've already got a bigger blade with better ergos for $40 less (Manix 2) BUT...I know there's a lot of love for the G10 Native, and what better steel to grab it in!?! Hate being so torn by this one! I have to t...

Paramilitary 2 Jade M4 Exclusive...I signed up for the wait list 18 months in advance...I knew I wanted a Para2 and the M4 and Jade seemed liked the perfect trigger. https://i.ibb.co/6JJBPW4/IMG-20191028-225145.jpg 40+ Spydies later and it's still all about the steel...I love what Spyderco exclusive...
