Identification help
Hi!
I wonder if someone can shed some light on who customised this Dragonfly.
It belonged to Jurphaas (R.I.P.)
Any help is appreciated!
Cheers!

Re: Ethnic series - complete listing
I have a couple of D.LeMaire knives Regarding the Hungarian - It's really a great rendition of a Hungarian Fejesgörbe! I have both a hand made, by Ferenc Kocsis Fejesgörbe and the Spyderco Hungarian The Hungarian is especially beautiful !! I find it really weird that Florinox does not cite Denis Le...

Re: Ethnic series - complete listing
These 2 accompanied by the story about them from Joyce :o Anyone read French? I've been after one for a while but never see them on sale anywhere ! If anyone can provide a shot of the story without the knives in front I could translate it no problem :winking-tongue But seriously, if anyone knows of...

Re: Knife trends you just don't understand?
Exclusives. How many shades of beige do you need of a certain model? Deep carry pocket clips, perfect for those who like to faff and fish for the knife in pocket. The obsession with compression lock, sure it's a great lock and all but by now i don't think there's a single Spyderco model someone hasn...

Re: Any dog lovers?
I post with a very heavy heart, that our Tony "Bubby" passed last night in his sleep. We rescued him 8 years ago, and he gave us some wonderful memories over those 8 years. He never had an easy life, always on medication for sezuires, steroids for his back legs the past couple years, and ...

Re: St. Nick’s Exclusive red and black Goddard!
DLC blade - pass... Too bad Makes sense given the steel. I agree , it will be perfect for me to carry with little worries . MG2 It's a personal preference thing to me. Black blades look like gas station knives in my opinion. I only own one - the Perrin PPT I have no doubt they're great, just not fo...

Re: Morakniv
I have fond memories of the "real" Moras, late 60's to 70's with painted red wooden handles and laminated carbon steel, wicked sharp and easy to re-sharpen.
Nowadays they're ok to pretty good.

Re: Completely Forgotten Spyderco Models: Your Favorites?
I didn't have the patience to read through all posts, but this one struck me as a candidate. Even when i found mine it was very rarely mentioned. The C99 Volpe https://i.postimg.cc/TYQX39LZ/Volpe2.jpg The laser cut bug on the lock side is pretty cool! https://i.postimg.cc/DwZ3JX1m/Volpe-rear.jpg

Re: Sharp knives save lives
Couldn't it just be unclipped? Not trying to be a jerk here, but the collar has a clip on it and you wouldn't have needed a sharp knife next to the face of panicking dog. But I do understand sometimes a human panics too, and the easy options are overlooked. We tried to open the plastic clasp/ clip ...

Re: Gaboon Ebony Handles
Only experience i have with ebony is musical instruments (guitar fretboards and Uilleann (Irish) bagpipes. AFAIK instrument makers don't stabilize the timber, i do know they let it sit until it reaches humidity equilibrium (the pieces don't lose or gain weight anymore) and finished instruments are o...
